Recommendation Letter

Fiestyfemalewithfangs_69 is a gifted student who has faced many personal challenges in her life and overcome them. Though Fiesty's high school years were very rocky and she became pregnant during her senior year, the challenges she faced seemed to make her more determined to find out aho she was and became a person whose behavior matched who she was inside. During this time her grades improved and became consistent. When pregnant with her daughter, Fiesty's perspective on life changed markedly. By the time she was ready to enter John A. Logan College, Fiesty had set goals for life and for her education and was already working to achieve them. One of these goals was to graduate first in her class at John A. Logan. Additional goals included completing first a Bachelor's Degree, then a Master's Degree, and perhaps a PhD in child psychology.

Having had Fiesty as a student in class and as her advisor, I have come to know her well. I have seen her potential. Fiesty is a remarkably gifted and extremely creative student whose standard of excellence and quality are superior. She sets personal standards that far exceed those of the average student. Fiesty is well on the way to reaching several of her goals. She is more than halfway through her degree program at JALC and she has done very well in her classes, so far making nothing less than an A.

In her time away from her own studies, Fiesty is a student tutor and an active participant in JALC student activities. She is also a single mother who manages to balance her schoolwork and her responsibilities with her daughter. Fiesty's striving for excellence is also apparent in the quality of her mothering and family pursuits. She is doing an excellent job with her daughter. Fiesty is an exceptional woman who has discovered her own potential and sets very high goals and standards. She works unceasingly to achieve those goals and standards. In moving toward her goal she has gathered the resources of her mind, her personality, and her enthusiasm for life to work for her in a positive manner rather than let the events of her life become obstacles. She is an excellent role model. Fiesty truly deserves reward and recognition for her achievements.
