Picture was taken January 5, 1999...Location is just 1/4 mile south of Rt #80 on the DuPage River...We have an eye witness who spotted a Bald Eagle at the location of the proposed 143rd Street Extension DuPage River bridge...The choice is ours...Do we keep our open spaces or is it bye bye birdie... forever and ever?....(The eagle was eating a delicious duck dinner by the way)...
