This is a beautiful green skirted Dinner Gown and is one that I designed. It was not in the movie, but I could see someone showing up for dinner wearing this beautiful gown.
A beautiful green and white gown which features lace, pearls, sequins that accents both the bodice and the bottom of the gown as well. The kick pleat in the front has been pull gathered up. The kick pleat was formed and filled with satin and white lace. We dare not show our legs!!! The skirt was also pull gatherd up in the back, the same height as the front gather.
The bodice is made from white satin and is adorned over the shoulders and down the front to the waistline with a lace motifs. This lace accent is filled with seed pearls and sequins. The accent lace is not only on the bodice of the gown, but on the skirt, around the kick pleat as well as around the train.
The dress has buttons down the back. The back of the gown is accented with 1/2 inch white satin covered buttons.
The bottom of the gown is made from green satin crepe. The overskirt is created from green satin brocade. The underskirt is made from a darker green crepe. It is a wonderful contrast of green fabrics together.
Another accent to this gown is a beautiful sash made from the green satin brocade. It is a wide sash that goes around the waist and ties in the back into a large bow. What a lovely gown this is. The large bow also adds drama to the gown. The sash also adds a sliming effect with the sash tie.
The handbag is a pouch handbag design which is made from white satin, and covered with white lace. It is adorned with hand beaded crystal beads and white pearls.
