 "Joining the club was probably the best thing I did when I first got to ISU.  Since then, I
I have met some really cool people and have learned to love the sport more and
more all the time. I hope that if anyone is even remotely interested in joining the club, that they at least check
it out. It's a really great experience!"

        "Being from the east coast of Canada, I had never been at a loss for
outdoor activities.  Although Illinois has a lot to offer, it didn't take me
too long to realize that its endless miles of corn and soybean don't cry
"Adventure!".  I'm still not exactly awestruck by the recreational options
of the territory, but my involvement in the climbing club has been more than
a great compensation.  It has certainly been fun way to meet some great
people with similar interests."

"The rock climbing club was a great way for me to make friends my first year on campus.
The trips and the weekend getaways have been the least expensive vacations I've ever been on,
and the most fun.  It is such a relief to get out of central Illinois, out of the flatlands,
and into some wilderness."
