This is one of those projects that is taking way too long to finish…
The body is an original 1959 Morris Minor Van, built in England by Morris Garages (same company that built MG's). It was powered by an enemic 948cc 4 cylinder engine with a whopping 37 horsepower.
That has been changed however, as the body now sits on a modified Isuzu P'up Truck frame that was narrowed 4" and shortened by fabricating an entire new rear frame but retaining the Isuzu suspension. It has also been fitted with a Buick 3.8 V-6 and Turbo 350 trans.
Eventually it will feature power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, reclining seats, and other creature comforts and performance goodies. Hopefully, it MIGHT be on the road sometime in the next decade!
