It's really a romance novel, and you all should know that anything V.C. Andrews
writes is totally bombified. Laura and Robert fall in love, but Laura's brother
Cary doesn't want her to keep meeting him because secretly he has feelings for
his sister too, and he's really overprotective. Anyway, Laura meets him all the
time anyway, and her parents get pissed. She loves him so much, that they have
sex when his parents are away, but l8er on, she feels guilty and tells him to
leave her alone.
They make up, and go on a boat trip with him when it's kinda
stormy. Robert dies, and she almost dies too, except someone saves her. Laura
loses her memory, and her evil grandmother sends her to a crazy-people-clinic,
telling her parents that she died on the boat trip. (what a bitch) Laura regains
her memory, except they don't let her leave, cuz the grandma insists she's still
crazy. Laura gets chained up in her bed for trying to run away, but then her
friend helps her run away again, and instead of going home, she jumps in
the sea where Robert died, and drowns herself, claiming that now she and her
lover would always be 2gether. That is like the most saddest and best book I
have ever read. Sorry if I spoiled it for yall, but I didn't want to leave out
anything
