Okay this book is written by an Australian author but someone who lives in
America told me they've read it so
I think you can buy it in America.

Anyway it is a 7 book series (the last book
just came out this October)
and is about 8 friends who go on a camping trip in a place called Hell and when
the return a war has begun.
I think it's a really good series because it is written really well and the
storyline is so good you can't wait for
the next book to come out. It's not only about the war it's about friendships,
relationships and other things
that people their age (i think they're 17 but it lasts more than a year and
doesn't mention birthday's so I don't
know) face.
I recommend anyone read them - they're really good, and almost
everyone I know reads them.
The rest of his books are really good too.
