Chapter 5 Maria felt as though she was in a nightmare. A bizarly real nightmare. In her hand she held two roses and Evan was looking at her waiting for something had he asked her a qustion? "Maria" Evan said smiling "Uh Yeah Evan" "Will you give me a chance. Lately you've been all that's on my mind" Evan smiled again Now what she thought as she stared at Ken. What now? I mean Evan was a nice guy and all but. . . Before she could answer the bell rang as Evan said "Don't answer me right away think about it Maria" Maria nodded as she ran into the girl's bathroom. What was she going to do now? Alex blew her bangs out of her eyes as she sighed. "I know this is weird but I just moved back and I needed someone to talk to" Sarah nodded "Go ahead" "Okay well... Will and I have known each other years. I mean longer than he's known Melissa even. Our Parents were best friends so we were always pretty close. Anyway I've always had these feelings for him and he's always seen me as a little sister I guess." She stopped and pulled her short black hair into a ponytail. Sarah stared at Alex and nodded Alex sighed as she continued "So anyway last year when I moved I came so close to telling him how I felt but there was Melissa and I wanted to respect what they had so now when he's free and I could have told him he tell's me he is in love with Jessica." Sarah's hazal eyes widened "Jessica Wakefield? The one who is in love with her boyfriend and hates Will?" Alex nodded "Yep, So guess what I did? I agreed to help him win her over. Am I insane or what?" "Alex he has no chance with Jessica. You heard how she talked about Will. I mean maybe she'll forgive him but she loves Jeremy. I don't know what to tell you" Alex groaned "I know she won't ever want him but I want him and he doesn't want me" Sarah frowned "You don't know that he doesn't want you. Maybe if he knew how you felt about him he'd forget about Jessica! Tell him how you feel." Alex laughed "Oh right Sarah. Look at me and look at Jessica Wakefield god she could fall off one of the pages of one of those Banana Republic Ads. She looks like a model. I don't even compare" Sarah groaned "Alex your really pretty. Don't put yourself down. Just tell him" Alex smiled "You think" "Defintely! Now we better get to class" Alex smiled "Your right, and Sarah Thanks" Sarah smiled "Anytime!" * * * * * What do I do... No seriousily I'm asking the Universe. This year has been really hard on me. First Conner now this. So should I say yes to Evan? What do I do?
Elizabeth Wakefield sighed as she started taking her things out of her locker. She couldn't wait to get home and than go out with Conner. She smiled as someone covered her eyes "Guess Who" Liz smiled "Um could it be Andy" "Nope, One more try or you get it" The deep voice warned "Um Tee" Liz said grining as she felt two familar hands turn her around. She sighed as she stared into Conner's deep jade eyes. He bent his head as he said "Your going to pay Liz" "Really" Conner bent his head as he said "Oh Yeah" As his lips touched hers he felt that familar electric rush. It still amazed him that ever time he kissed her it was just more amazing! They pulled apart as Liz suddenly caught sight of something. Conner followed her gaze. Maria was in the Oracle office looking really confused. He smiled "Go ahead. Are we still on for tonight" Liz smiled "Definetly" As he left Liz walked to the Oracle office and put a hand on Maria's shoulder. "What's Wrong" Maria sighed "Everything is fine. I mean Evan just asked me out" Liz grinned "That's great. So where are you guys going? Hey maybe we could double!" Maria shook her head "I haven't said yes yet. I don'y know if I'm going to. I'm I just.. See Ken and I have been getting close and I had hoped..." Recognition set in as Liz repiled "Do you know if he feels the same way" "No, Liz I really don't think he sees me in that way. Maybe I should go out with Evan. I mean what good is it going to do waiting right!" Liz looked unsure "Maybe you shouldn't go on this date Maria" Maria grinned "Why not, I don't have a life maybe it's time I found one!" * * * * * * "Sorry I wasn't looking" Sarah groaned as she saw who she had literally run into. It was Andy. Andy grinned as he got up "Sarah pretty soon I'm going to start to think you have it in for me" Sarah blushed "I'm Sorry I was in a hurry to get to our session" Andy nodded "I was going that way too.We can WALK together" She laughed at the way he emphazied walk. "So Andy did you do the practice problems. I did and I think I did a good job" "Great, Because I was thinking of.." Her sentence was cut short as Gina Cho walked up to them. She glanced at Sarah with out so much as looking at her. "Hi Andy, Guess what my parents are out of town and I'm having a little get together tonight. Invitation only of course you understand." Andy smirked "I do perfectly" As Gina left he glanced at Sarah Who seemed to have shrunken into the ground. He smiled "So how about a movie tonight Sar my treat" Sarah stared at him in confusion as she said "Are you Sure. I mean She just invited you and" Andy cut her off "Sarah Gina has a thousand of those parties. You want to go? Say yes come on? Sarah grinned "Okay"
