The Kita Ha Kempo Ju Jutsu Ryu

A bow is a sign of respect. In oriental cultures it is the equivalent of a hand shake in ours.
A student is expected to bow in a proper and respectful manner when...
1) Beginning and ending a class.
2) Addressing and leaving a testing board.
3) Going on and off the floor.
4) Starting and finishing an exercise.
5) The instructor comes on the floor.

Additional Etiquette (On the floor)

1) Always address a Black Belt as Sensei (or other title) NEVER by their first name.
2) Never touch another persons weapons without permission, especially bladed weapons.
3) Never walk in front of or between a Black Belt and another person.
4) Never adjust your uniform while facing someone, or the front of the gym
