Welcome to my personal The Hydrogen Geeks thank you list. The ones named by, uh, name, are people that go above and beyond just being a fan, not just saying "hey guys, can I be your groupie?" The list includes (in no particular order):
Becky + Steve Urich, for giving us food, a practice pad, money, etc., anything that we have needed and you could provide basically.
Tyson Markley, for advice, letting me borrow shit that I would have to rent for mucho buckos otherwise, and all around support. And for writing the songs for a band in my list of top 3 favorites.
Marsha Satterfield, for drumming and singing for us for our little studio project in July, and for making the first half of 98 an interesting time for me!
Tom Satterfield, for providing us with a drum set o so many times!
Ham (who the above three are members of), for playing shows with us, inspiring Brian as a drummer (Tom is the Caucasian God of Funk), and just being all-around cool.
Fluxx, for playing on 2 days notice at our first show!
Bloody Mess, for putting us in his fine compilation series and release show bill.
Stinky Pete, for having such a nice studio at such a cheap price. (and for being a fun little dog, even if you are massive!)
Josh Paul, for being the kewlest bouncer around, especially when making sure I didn't get my ass kicked at our first show!
Jenny (Jenny, Jenny) Kinsinger, for inspiring the awesome song that doubles her bee-u-ti-ful name!
Joe Fisher, for being at the practices and carrying stuff, and giving your TRUE opinion on stuff!
Lisa Nabhan and Christina Richards both for the late night advice and overall support that only 2 friends like you could provide, and for Christina for getting grounded just to see some of our 7/10/98 show!
Martin Sams and Mike Jorgensen, for making one of MY songs your favorite of ours in early times! (don't worry, I'm not egotistical, It's just nice, ya know?) And for the Record, it was "Broadcast." (Tyson's Fave too I've been informed, but he hasn't heard Jenny, Jenny yet...)
Matt Jordan, for giving us our first gig (though you suck cause you made us pay to play!)
Seth Urich and John O' Brien, for being and recruiting some Junior High fans.
Adam Gabor, for being at all the shows you can, and being someone to talk to late at night online!
Marissa Miller, for giving Brian an, uh, creative outlet!
Cheramiee Doyle, see above, change Brian to Sean, but also for bitching out promoters and others when necessary! Courtney Love in training. (and I mean that in a good way)
To anyone who has gone to more than one of our shows, thanks for giving us a chance not to suck, even though we probably did both times you saw us!
