" A short Story “
By Joyce

“ Hope and A Humming bird “ Part #2

“Yes, I had quite a job to do,
the Hummingbird’s leg was injured, so
I ran into the house, searching through
a nature book, I quickly read what
I should do” Hummingbird’s require a huge
amount of calories, and after they are
well always release them in the daytime.

So, I knew I had to get some nectar
from the feeder, into my bird. I had to
use a eyedropper to do this, And to hold
it down, it was very weak and feeble,
But it was taking the nectar.” in the
distance I heard a few other
Hummingbird’s coming into land and drink
nectar from my hanging feeder’s. “ All
of a sudden my injured Hummingbird’s
head came up and it fluttered its wings
trying to fly. (TO BE CONTINUED)
God bless and have a good day. LOVE JOYCE
P.S. " If you have an angel story. Please!
Send it to me. Any comments on this please

Homeless need:
By Richard J. Faykosh
Now that pads closed you will see more
of the homeless in and about town.
Some will be hanging out by the liquor
stores panhandling to get a bottle and
cigarettes. Others will be working
at temp services to make a few dollars.
But you will see them at the restaurants
and at the parks.

With no place to go some will be getting
into trouble others will try to stay away
from trouble. When they are not seen will be
better for them. Because when young people
find their camp grounds they usually steal
everything they own or smash it all to hell.
The homeless shelter will not bring lines of
homeless standing in line down Rt# 31 all
the way into town. And anyone thinking that way
is pretty stupid. To think this shelter will
bring in more homeless from other areas.
Is like wise stupid. The PADS says there is
50 to 60 homeless in town. But they never
counted the homeless that did not use PADS
last year. These people found places to stay
over the winter with friends other ways.
I would estimate these people in about another
80 to 100 more.

More Election News :
BY. R. J. Faykosh
It seems that the election was
fixed in some areas. When people
that were voted out take seats when
other un-trustees resign. It seems the
old guard is trying to sabotage the
new group already. When one trustee
resigns and they put in someone that
was elected out to take their place,
And when one of the new trustees has
been involved in hiring people to rip
down other peoples signs. So they
could have their signs left up. So
this new group has already got the
underhanded dealings going on. And
this newspaper does not like it one
dam bit. Underhanded people that
has fooled the public,
There are still the underhanded
people still in office that need
to be replaced.

POEMS OF THE STREET
POEM # ONE
SHE:

By Richard Faykosh 5/1/05

Alone she sets,
Glancing my way,
Hearing a noise,
Runs to the window.

I turn to look,
As she looks back,
Our eyes meet,
A smile is felt.

She comes to me,
Touching my knee,
As she gazes,
Into my eyes.

She snuggles my foot,
Craws up to my shoulder,
Curls into a ball,
And goes to sleep.

POEM # TWO
OPEN THE CURTAIN:

By Richard Faykosh 5/1/05

Open the curtain wide,
Let the morning sunshine in,
As the warmth fills your soul,
A glow from within.

Open the curtain,
Let Gods love in,
As the glow fills,
Warmth from with in.

Open the curtain,
Allow the glow in,
As the sunshine fills your soul,
A good morning from within.

Open the Curtin,
Let the warm sunshine in,
As the rays fill the soul,
To create a morning glow.
