THINGS THAT THOSE OF C-VILLE SHOULD KNOW

Hello!
I have spoken with over 4,000 people, and I keep hearing the same concerns. There are very few public leaders that listen to the people. Not only do I listen to the people, but also I want to know that I have the same concerns as they do and I want to do something about it.
So what should I start with?
How about the fact that we don't have enough sidewalks. I know that we need sidewalks for our pedestrians, not everyone has a car. Crosswalks are also needed to aid our growing pedestrian population. There are more people walking now then there was 10 years ago. Yet there is more traffic which needs more speed control and traffic control signals.
Then, the fact that they are going to put a highway on a residential street. That already has a speed limit that’s too high. We are talking about the BOLZ RD. Bridge. This is defiantly NOT wanted or needed. It's a disaster waiting to happen.
Then there is $3.000,000 missing. HOW in the world do you lose that much money?
Is it bad planning?
Misappropriation?
Mismanagement?
Or is it that you can't balance your checkbook?
What about the drastically needed STREET LIGHTS. In areas where lighting is poor. To cut crime and to bring back life to these areas so people will not fear of walking out their front door after dusk.
Then the need of more TRAFFIC LIGHTS as in the area of BOLZ & RT.25. This is a very dangerous intersection.
Then there's the YOUTH CENTER to get some of the children off the streets and possibly produce less gangs.
The WHY? Are we talking about making more buildings and more development, before we have finished, what we have already started. You do not start a project and not finish it. It makes CARPENTERSVILLE INCOMPLETE! Lets Finnish what we have already started. Try crossing Rt. 25..
Then we ask about the OPEN LAND ON Rt.31? What happens to this land should be up to the people of Carpentersville. And not the big time Public Bankers.
But there is one thing we all miss. And thank God it didn't happen. There was going to be a big shoot out at CMS. Well it did not happen thanks to our law enforcement.
As you cam see, I really do care for Carpentersville. And we need to make a change together.

Title:: Brick used to beat a homeless man
An Elgin man was injured Tuesday when another man threw a brick at him and then beat him over the head with a second brick. The police said. The 45-year-old man, who told police he is homeless, suffered cuts, bruises and swelling to his face and head, according to reports. He did not want to be hospitalized.
The man told police he was at the city bus station on East Chicago Street around 9 a.m.
When he started arguing with another man. That man then followed him and threw a brick at his head. He also pulled out another brick and started beating him repeatedly with it over the head. Police identified a suspect, and told the victim to contact the Kane County states attorney's office if he wants to press charges.
Well this homeless man will probably not press charges. And will just walk away from this. Because most homeless people have given up and they will become very passive. It’s a sign of defeat in our system.

But that did not happen. Before the year's end his striving was dashed. He was laid off, and this was a real mental strain to him and to his family. Bob got terminated. The company said because he was not performing to there standard. Bob could not understand that because for the last three weeks he put in 56,78, 98, hours in those weeks. The only thing he could aquatint to it was the fact he was putting in too many hours cutting into the quality of work. But they let him go. Bob still felt good. And decided that maybe he would look for something in another field. One that he had not been in. So he started his job search with a new open mindedness.
Christmas was around the corner, so he went into a job search looking for something that he could use through the holiday season. Into the next year, But the jobs where not there. Because these stores started there holiday season too soon. So everything got kind of messed up, Bob had several good possibilities after the first of the year. But he needed to keep things going until he could go in and interview for these jobs.
Christmas came, and Bob with his wife, had no Christmas. They did not get presents for one another. The tree was with out gifts for the children and all. But they gave thanks to having a roof over their head for another month. It's real hard to live like this, You just do not know if the floor will drop out from under you. All you can do is work as hard as you can, to keep this from happening. And after the pattern has been set it’s real hard to get the spiral motion to stop so, he has some things that can work out for him. But then again, they may not work out. So he sits in limbo, hoping to get something to work in a positive light.

Let Me Tell You About Your World

It's a sick world. Teenagers selling drugs for a living. But still dear lord your forgiven. Your not forgiving.
I'm forgiving you cause the world, done made. Is full of pain. Watching little six year old kids go insane. Grabbing daddy's gun. Blowing, a friends brain. Talking blowing. Look at what these 12 year old girls are showing, Up on the street corners strait hoeing. Now dear lord, Is this the way the world is suppose to be flowing? I'm asking you. Cause you're the only one suppose to be knowing. Is this what you meant about free will? Them nights I didn't get a meal," lord". Do you even know how pain feels? And if you where one of us? Would you sin kill a man for a fin? Cause down here you don't always win? And when you die will the angels let you back in?
