TRINITY NEWS
JANUARY EDITION 2005
This was the same area where I had my
tent when I was homeless. Where I lived
there with fellow Homeless guys that also
had their own tents, Ricky and Charlie.
The next day I learned that there was a
slaying there and the information was not
forth coming and was being kept secret by
the police Dept. On Thursday we learned that
there was two suspects and that one was
found in Memphis Tenn.
I also learned that the other suspect was
not found and thought that person may also
have been killed. The homeless man found
was Mr. Rick Allen Walker that was homeless
and lived in the same site that I did.
And that his neck was cut. The homeless man
killed was 36 years old. There were several
other homeless people living in the same area.
This is all that has been released.
But Homeless people will find places out of
site from on lookers. If they can find the
material to build a tent they will.
And they will try to keep some of what little
they may have there in the tent. Extra
food, tools to cut wood or dig holes.
Things you might need in camping. They will
stay there even in the coldest of nights.
I understand that the same goes for
Rick Walker. He was a worker, and that he
did find work at times.
I’m not sure if we spoke because when
your homeless last and middle names are
not that important. In fact when your homeless
there is a lot of things that are not
that important. I hope at this time we find
out what really did happen and it’s sad
that the GREAT AMERICAN CITY Now has
6 homeless deaths to its credit.
When will the City Of Elgin get serious
about doing something in helping the
homeless community? Don’t you think its
time to do something? It would seem that
people would be tired on how the city and
how the general public treat the homeless.
Not all of the homeless are useless.
There is a percentage that could make a
turnaround with the guidance and help that
the city could muster.
If you’re tired of seeing and hearing
about the homeless problem and really
wish to get some answers, Email me and I
would love to came and talk to your group.
Because it’s a very important subject with
me. And I would love to talk with you and
your group to help solve some of the homeless
problems.
Do you think that you would like to do something this year to help?

For being there for us over the Years.
By Richard Faykosh 12/31/04
It's the day after christmas.
And all through the house.
Not a creature is wishing.
For there is crumbs even for a mouse.
The stockings no longer hang.
Now their only empty space.
For Santa’s come and gone.
Reindeer and all.
I’m now wearing my presents.
And enjoying the cheer.
Christmas is over.
For another year.
Sun shining through,
Sun shining through,
Sun shining through,
Sun shining through,
Thin layers of ice,
Crystal colors reflect,
In shapes of wonder.
Cut glass,
Colors of wonder,
Reflect in the room.
Crystal glass,
Reflecting colors,
Dance all about.
Colors of wonder.
