We are Sad

of the death of Hanna’s Father.
Hanna owns the Hanan Hall Jewelry Emporium
In East Dundee.

remembering their Father,

What to do about Gas prices? By Richard J. Faykosh
Well! ,
Some of you will just cry in your beer
to here what I might say on this subject.
My first thought is to as a question.
What do you need more?
Gas to go to work or beer to make you feel good?
What do you need more?
Gas to go to the store or Beer to fill your life?
What do you need more?
Gas to go to work or Cigarettes to blacken your lungs?
What do you need more?
Gas to go to the store or Cigarettes to blacken your lungs?
So lower the taxes on Gas
and increase the tax on Cigarettes and Alcohol.
It will cost more to get drunk
to drive your car and get a DUI.
It just might make you a bit sober more
so you can go to work.
It just might show you your real problem.
For every 3 people that drink
there is one that does not drink Alcohol.
So there are 3 to one persons on
the road drunk driving to those that are sober.
And if those that drink has to pay more
for their alcohol there would be less drinking.

STORY ABOUT ONE OF OUR HOMELESS

I called her the next day to get what
feed back I could get. I think by the
feedback she was very happy that we spent
the day together. Now our talk was more
personal and there were a lot more
questions. She did enjoy being with my dog
Abe; she thought he was a keeper. And I
guess She thought that I was a keeper also.
Well I lost that house and ended back on
the streets again.
It took a little over a year to get back
off the streets. I had lost everything that
I owned except for the love of Joyce.
We now have been together since 3/27/95
And together we have forged to try to make
Trinity into something. We both have our
dreams and each other to make the way.
And with the help of God we will get it done.

I Remember:

I remember all those years.
Like:
Halloween, When I became scared
of all those Masked Goblins.
In his arms the doors were closed to those fears.
I remember all those years.
Like:
The time Dad had to punish me for my behavior.
How stern he had to be.
But after the punishment was dealt.
I never saw the tear run down his face.
I remember all those years.
Like:
When the death of the family pet.
Turned the whole world sad and dark.
It was his positive charm that took away the dark
clouds to let the sun shine again.
I remember all those years.
Like:
When I was sick.
And in silent
he would come to my room
and set on the edge of the bed
to check on me.
In the silence he said it all.
I remember all those years.
Like:
How excited I was on my birthday.
With all of those Gifts for me.
But now I realize the best gift.
The one of love that makes the heart cheer.
I remember all those years.
And on this Fathers day.
I shall lock them away in my heart.
For in love,
We will never Part.
Happy Fathers Day “Dad”.

It real good to be alive.
As she looks up from reading the paper.
Noticing the movement of those around her.
It all too kool.
As she open the window.
To let in the freshness over whelm
The rooms in splendor.
It is almost time to put everything in the fix.
For the day starts to wind it self on down.
The judgment of the day was just fine.
Together we will relax the time.
As you can hear the waves roll to shore.
Slowly you drift off to sleep.
Your nights begun,
Quietness overwhelms you.
Sleep tight.
