" A short Story “
By Joyce

“ Hope and A Humming bird “ Part #3

The Wings of my humming bird started to
flutter and then with the others she
flew away. “Well at last”, I was happy,
but I was a bit sad that she flew away.
But I did get it healthy and able to be
on it’s own and you know how the saying
goes‘If you set something free and it
comes back to you, it was meant to be”
Now you know the rest of the story!
God bless and have a good day. LOVE JOYCE
P.S. " If you have an angel story. Please!
Send it to me. Any comments on this please
E-mail me. Thank You, With Love Joyce Email address

Homeless need:
By Richard J. Faykosh
Now that pads closed you will
see more of the homeless in
and about town.

Some will be hanging out by
the liquor stores panhandling
to get a bottle and cigarettes.
Others will be working at temp
services to make a few dollars.

But you will see them at the
restaurants and at the parks.
Please By giving them your change
or a dollar or two will not help
them one bit. They will take the
cash you give and buy a 40 oz and
drink it. And that is not helping
them. If you tell them that you will
buy them a sandwich or a bottle of
pop they will say no thank you and
walk away. Because the beer or alcohol
is what they really want. Never give
them any cash. But offer to buy them
a sandwich or can of pop. Remember most
homeless persons are substance abused.

And that if there was a center for them
to go to get the help most of them will
not get the help they really need,
Because at a center they would be
confronted with a solution to the problem.
Even if the solution they offer is
not a true solution for these people
that have been drinking for five or more
years. And a six-month detox system
will not begin to work for them.
The System must be updated so it can
benefit the clients that it receives.
But this system is not working. So
when you look at a homeless person
look at the system that is not
working, not at the sick homeless
person needing the assistance.
Have we failed them? Have we really
tried to solve the homeless problem?

More Election News :
BY. R. J. Faykosh
It seems that the election was
fixed in some areas. When
people that were voted out
take seats when other
un-trustees resign. It seems
the old guard is trying to
sabotage the new group
already. When one trustee
resigns and they put in someone
that was elected out to take
their place, And when one of
the new trustees has been
involved in hiring people to
rip down other peoples signs.

So they could have their signs
left up. So this new group has
already got the underhanded
dealings going on. And this
newspaper does not like it one
dam bit. Underhanded people that
has fooled the public,
There are still the underhanded
people still in office that need
to be replaced.

POEMS OF THE STREET
POEM # ONE
These are:

By Richard Faykosh 6/1/05

Light Blue Sky,
Full of clouds fluffy white,
I do not know why,
But I enjoy the sight.

Trees swaying in the breeze,
As the wind touches my face,
Puts me at such ease,
That slows down my pace.

Birds winging in the sky,
Swooping here or there,
Makes me just sigh,
Life as I see it is fair.

These are the simple things,
That I will miss,
When my time is over.

POEM # TWO
Peaceful is:

By Richard Faykosh 6/1/05

Comfort is my home,
Where I need not to Roam.
Graceful is the day,
To deal with what comes my way.

Loving is my spouse,
Even when I’m sick and A louse,
Easy is the week,
No Matter how strange or Meek.

Cooling is my room,
Where I can settle my gloom.
Filling is life together,
Dealing with what ever.

Hopeful for a good tomorrow,
Dealing with sorrow.
Smiling through out our life’s,
Consoling each other’s strife’s.

Peaceful is the way I like it.
