Carpentersville trustees steal more money when they can not afford police officers!

We can not afford police officers,
we can not afford the new bridge, and we can not afford the trustees giving themselves a 4% to 38% raise.
I told you all that you were electing in a batch of buffoon's. And you did just that. We will never get a casino to help us out of problems as Elgin has done. And Elgin no longer has the casino to help them out either. But those of Carpentersville will really suffer now.
First the new McHenry Bridge is going in to your village.
Added police to cover the problems that will derive from this will not be there.
Cutting off Fox View Apartments entrance to the road to the bridge will not help with out the added police needed. Added firemen and another firehouse that is needed will cause more problems.
The City trustees should have taken a reduction in pay to best provide the city with needed funds. So to get the police and firemen needed, will cost more in taxes.
Oops! Did not those elected to the trustee's office declare not any added taxes?
Well I guess you can call them the city Untrustee's of Carpentersville.
Talking to a person that ran in the last election Kent Baldwin. I asked him to make a few commits about the decisions of the new city Untrustee's.
About the raise increase Kent said," that you only get raises when you do a good job. How can they do a good job after one or two months of service? This action is bogus. The city should spend the 1.4 million on more police and fireman instead of a pay raise for themselves. This will cut the money needed for the added police and firemen. That puts the city over its budget. And by boosting the cost of water is a very bad thing to do when money is so tight among the residents. The city will be in just as bad as it was when Callihan was in office. And that wasteful spending on things that was not needed. Roads need to be repaired, more police and fireman needed. And the higher cost of a paramedic / ambulance calls will push away the elderly from calling for needed help causing death. We need to care for our senior citizens. And get our children off the streets. "
It seems that the Untrustee's Of Carpentersville need to reevaluate what they are doing.. Because we are watching you, and we will judge very harshly..
I think that I will run for trustee in two years. Will you vote for me? I can be no worse then the people in office now!

The great American city at it again!

City of Elgin shows once more it's stupidly for not helping its own. Repeated over and over has the cry gone out to help the cities homeless? And over and over again the city refuses to accept the responsibility for its mistakes.
Years of neglect have brought a very large homeless problem to the doors of the Elgin's city Counsel.
The City has only given little help to P.A.D.S. to help them over the years.
And when a Man Named Angelo Valdes of H.E.L.P.S. comes to them NOT FOR FUNDS but for A place for a shelter. The city closes the door in his face, because he takes a few homeless people home with him. They are trying to STOP that also.
If I want to bring home a homeless person home with me it's my right to do so. If I want to bring home 50 homeless persons home with me then that should also be my decision. Not the City of Elgin's decision.
Angelo Valdes did not ask for $40.000 a year as P.A.D.S. has received each year. And the City counsel has execces to a lot of buildings that they will not be using. Unless they make fire houses out of them?
But that will not happen either. So Angelo Valdes story has been told in all of the local newspapers Herald, Courier, Sun times of Chicago that reaches people in the entire major cites. That makes Elgin (The great American City) Look like The great LOSER City of the world.
When are you people going to wake up to what your city counsel is doing? DA! Time to wake up and smell the garbage (also a problem) in Elgin.

STORY ABOUT ONE OF OUR HOMELESS

Since I worked nights it was easier to find a place to sleep during the daytime. A park, By the river, anywhere I could set the car under a shade. After about three weeks I got my paycheck and I went back to see him. But he was still angry.
So I kept sleeping in my car and kept looking for a place to stay.
I would sleep in my pickup and with my dog Tron. We would sleep in many different places. After many months The Courier News did a story on me. Since I was going to E.C.C. Alternatives program. Where I made calls to find a place that I could afford to rent. And added employment.
Since I was homeless I got a grant that helped me get my G.E.D. This took some real work.
I was working two jobs Going to classes and looking for a place I could afford. Jack and my friends at the alternatives program took care of my tanks of fish. They had a tank in each office.
Summer was harsh because of the heat but by the time winter was coming I was hopeful that I would be in an apartment or something. The search was hard and took time, since I was working security then working at Burger King back to back.
Yet I was having a hard time locating an apartment. (To be continued next month)

Teams will be releasing players some good, mostly players that have grown too old. But there may be a few that will find there way into the ranks of other teams to help them.
