"Happy Mother' Day ”
By Joyce

A mother understands..

…What life is all about.
…Love has more to do with letting go
than holding on.

…Dust will always take up residence in
her home, her children will not.

…A hug can heal even the deepest wound.

…Some memories are better captured by the
heart, than by a camera.

…Listening is more important than talking.

…Patience is more than a virtue,
It's a necessity..

P.S. " If you have an angel story. Please!
Send it to me. Any comments on this please
E-mail me. Thank You, With Love Joyce Email address

Carpentersville still not doing right
By Richard J. Faykosh
It's now pretty clear that the
UN-Trustees have yet to do the right
thing when they need to be done. There
is still plenty of problems with the budget
from years ago. When Nancy Moore screamed
this would not work. And they would not
listen to her. Yet in the past Year I
heard Nancy Scream that this needs to be
adjusted and solved and fixed so we can
get on with our jobs. And as yet we have not
heard that its been solved. We have been
waiting to talk with Nancy Moore about some
of these things so that I can get a clearer
idea of what needs to be done, but she has
yet to contact me for a meeting.

I really believe that Nancy is true to her
office, but the other UN-trustees I have my
doubts about. When they took a pay raise,
but yet have done nothing to deserve or
earn it. As, far As I can tell there is not
one UN-trustee to believe in Except Nancy.
Her word to me is golden. That is, if I
ever get a word from her face to face. So
when are we going to get this done Nancy?
I'm very patient and can wait.

STORY ABOUT ONE OF OUR HOMELESS
By R.J.
We stopped off and I got her another rose.
So she had two roses so far. And the date
was just beginning. We got to the boat show
and after parking the car, I grabbed my
dress coat and in the three of us went.

I had a camera with me and asked the
lady (Jean) to take a picture of Joyce and
I before a boat. She did so. We had
only been together for four hours at this
point. So, we visited the tables that
were set up and I bought her some things
and I gave her some cash so she could
buy me something.

She got me some
after-shave, And I got her two statues
a dog and a unicorn . I think she still
has the dog. We left there and we dropped
off Jean at my house, And then we headed
to Barrington Square to a movie, but I
stopped in to see a friend that worked
at the Burger King there.

I once worked
there also. Then off to see the movie.
The movie had Lesley Nelson in it but
it was not that good, we stayed as long
as we could stand it.

But we did leave.
So, from there I drove to Humana Gardens
on Mc Clean Blvd. Where I had made
reservations. But, I stopped and got a rose
at the white hen Pantry across the street.

We went in and sat down and the waitress
brought us both tea to drink. We had
Teriyaki Beef, Chicken, With soup, Joyce,
got a fortune cookie and its message was
this is the start of a lifetime.

And after
the meal her Fortune said, Hold this moment
forever, We left there after we ate
and Joyce was very tired. So, I drove her
home to her mothers where I kissed her good
night. And I went home. I called her the next
day to get what feed back I could get.

I think by the feed back she was very happy
that we spent the day together. Now our
talk was more personal and their were a
lot more questions. She did enjoy being
with my dog Abe, she thought he was a keeper.

POEMS OF THE STREET
POEM # ONE
Sings the birds !

By Richard Faykosh 4/27/04

In the solitude of quietness Softly as she sleeps.
Like A spring princess With A heavenly glow.
A gentle breeze begins To move the curtains
Oh So slightly Gently it touches her face.
The first beam of sunlight,
Peeks into the room To slowly warm her face.
As the birds prepare a song.
Soon there is a bright beam Of warm dancing light
As the birds began to sing
The morning song to the princess.
Slowly she open her eyes,
And slowly wipes the sleep away
From her face
Looking around seeing her close guards.
As they still sleep on a pillow.
Good morning Princess Sings the birds.

POEM # TWO
Sleep Tight !

By Richard Faykosh 4/30/04

6:45
It real good to be alive.
As she looks up from reading the paper.
Noticing the movement of those around her.

7:22
It all too kool.
As she open the window.
To let in the freshness over whelm
The rooms in splendor.

8:36
It is almost time to put everything in the fix.
For the day starts to wind it self on down.

9:09
The judgment of the day was just fine.
Together we will relax the time.

10:24
As you can hear the waves roll to shore.
Slowly you drift off to sleep.

11:01
Your nights begun,
Quietness overwhelms you.
Sleep tight.
