"Angel Pennies"
By Joyce

“A happy birthday in heaven Dad”

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
But it’s not just a penny
This little coin I found.

Angels put them there
That’s what my grandpa told me,
He said angels toss them down.

Oh! How I loved that story.

He said when an angel misses you
They toss a penny dawn,
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don’t pass by that penny
When you are feeling blue,
It may be a penny from heaven
That an angel’s tossed to you.

Author is unknown God Bless!

God bless and have a good day. LOVE JOYCE
P.S. " If you have an angel story. Please!

Area News:
By Richard J. Faykosh
Now that West Dundee and the apartment
complex next to where PADS was going
to build there new Shelter, It seems
that the apartment complex is so afraid
that there property may not be worth as
much if this is done. But in a sense
their property may be worth more because
it depends on how the new building might
look. So now the Pads Shelter is held up
in court. Then the city of Elgin can go
ahead and bring in people from
New Orleans but they fail to take care
of their own homeless right here.
For the past 50 years they refused to
have a homeless problem until lately.
The courier news Even was willing to
pay give the homeless bus tickets to
anywhere they wished to go as long as
they left here. Now, they import
homeless from New Orleans, if they were
to take care of there own homeless we
would not be having the homeless
problem here.

Part #2 Since Chicago and a few other
surrounding cities has a cell phone law.
Perhaps Elgin, Carpentersville, &
the Dundee’s could put into effect their
very own laws.Since one out of every cars
on the road in the area the drivers will
be using there cell phones. So at $100.00
an offence, the city has a great cash flow
in building better roads ect. And if the
person using the cell phone is involved
in a accident $500.00 fine. Big bucks to
the city in the area and safer streets.

Part #3
Instead of adding taxes to the now gas for
our cars. Why not add the taxes to the
alcohol and tobacco. This would force those
driving drunk to spend less of these things.
This may cut down on the accident in the area.
There is way too many DUI's. Higher taxes on
tobacco would force the children to either
stop smoking. If I had to think of buying
beer or tobacco over gas in the car to get
around I do believe I would buy gas to make
money to get the other things that I need
rather then spending it on alcohol and tobacco.

Part #4
There are a lot of things our local government
can do to help its public at these times.
Look at the length of time a traffic light
switches from red to green.Making traffic
flow easier. Cutting taxes on fuel, Making
speed limits so that traffic could flow better
in the areas.

POEMS OF THE STREET
POEM # ONE
How I set In peace:

By Richard Faykosh 10/1/05

I do remember back in time,
I sat and heard distance a chime.

Here I set on a hill looking around,
And listening to the areas sound.

Notice the birds fly overhead,
I wish to be there instead.

Turning my head I do see,
Many animals there are free.

It was a simple date an time,
As I set and hear a chime.

And I set in peace.

POEM # TWO
Alone:

By Richard Faykosh 10/1/05

In silence,
I do hear,
Quietly so near,
I hear a distant twig creak.

In the silence,
Slowly turn towards the sound,
Not to make a sound myself,
To sharpen the senses.

Alone:
