CELL PHONE CRAZY?
By. Richard Faykosh

Well: I guess there is a lot of talk about the dreaded Cell phones. Advertisement on television has shown ads that say to not talk on the phone and drive. It’s become a real problem. Some of us will be saying that it’s unfair! But lets look at this a moment. Not everyone knows to end a call quickly. They keep on talking for such a long time. Taking away more and more of your awareness to the task at hand (driving the car). And cell phones in the hands of those that have a hard time handling one thing at a time is a problem, a deadly one. So it’s a That a boy to the makers of those ads… Send us an Email to trinitynews@netzero.net Just let us know your questions, thoughts, or suggestions.

" NO! MUSIC FESTIVAL?"

By Joyce

Rich & I really enjoyed going to this every year. And we always had a good time.
We were looking forward into going this year also. But, I guess this year it’s not in the budget. With a little prayer perhaps next year we will be able to enjoy it.
It did help P.A.D.S out quite a lot; it seemed to always have a good turnout of people.
Any comments on this please E-mail me.
Thank You,
With Love Joyce

SPORTS / VIEWS/ Commits from Richard’s desk!

Well we are into the baseball season. And already we have seen that a few Managers have been given the walking papers. Every since the last baseball strike things has been going down hill for the sport. A lot of old fans have left and have found real baseball in the peewee league. Where its being played with a real heart. In-fact it’s more enjoyable!

FOOTBALL Training Camp! DA! BEARS!

It looks like the Bear’s new training camp is a Fan Friendly one!

But will a place like this really make a difference in the way the team plays. I think that some of it could be because of the training camp. But the most of it comes from the players themselves and the coaches. They may have a great weight & Workout room. But if they do not have good coaches in this area, It’s a waste. The location is good for those people that live on the south side because they are close. I wonder if it is close to Metra or to the Transit authority.

Damon Moore has signed with the bears from the eagles. Damen is known for takeaways. This could be a real plus for the bear's defense with a strong safety.. What do you think? TRINITY20@aol.com

STORY ABOUT Saul, One OF OUR HOMELESS >>
By R. J.
I was riding my bike, As I have been doing a lot as of late. When I went stopped off at Mc Donald’s. I went in and got my drink and sat down at a table. Being into the things I’m into most people know that I do a lot of things with the homeless. Well a mid aged man came in and asked me if I could get him a cola or something? So I agreed to get him a drink, after he got his drink he went over to the furthest part of the dining area where he sat alone. I could understand that because when I was homeless I would do the same. I would try so hard to separate myself from everyone. So I just sat there drinking my drink and before too long. Some of the area homeless came in. And seeing me they got their drinks/food/whatever. And sat close to where I was and we began to talk a bit. We talked about all kinds of things. But the new Shelter that is being built was talked about. None of the people I talked to would leave their home city in Elgin to move there to that shelter. They have grown to know where the best places are to get food and to spend the night. I should say the safe places. And leaving here would put them into not knowing. You need to know the area that you’re homeless in. Because you could end up dead.

POEMS OF THE STREET
Poem # 1
ROSES ARE

BY R.J.

The Waitress,
She has a hard day,
Too busy to concentrate,
What can I say,
I Finnish my brunch,
Sealed the envelope,
Received my change,
Suprized upon her face,
Can I open it now or latter?
It doesn’t matter,
The doors close behind me,
The engine is started,
I must be on the roll,
At home I set,
Close my eyes,
As my mind wonders,
Back in time and space,
To the restaurant,
There she stands,
At the waitress station,
Opening the envelope,
Looking at the card,
A smile and a glow,
Appears upon her face,
Thoughts quickly run,
Through her head,
As she quickly runs,
Her eyes over what’s to be read,
An employee asks to see,
It’s personal to me,
She’ll take some ribs,
She’ll take some jokes,
She’ll take some talk,
That’s what will upset me,
She’ll get home,
And reread what’s there,
Then wonder what it means,
Like a flash she’ll know,
ROSES ARE NICE,
ROSES ARE SWEET,
BUT THEY DO WEATHER,
AND DIE,
WHAT I HAVE TO GIVE
WILL LAST.
