Hi alright here's my post, well as you know our song of the week is "Findaway" Well that doesn't really have much personal meaning to me, but I'll write something about it anyway. I tend to listen to this song when I'm feeling hopeless, because it kinda gives me a sence of hope, that things will get better and I shouldn't give in. Okie that's it!

Now about other silverchair realated things. As you all know the soundtrack to "Spawn" came out on the 29th of July, and that fetured a track by silverchair (yay!) Well I just listend to it yesterday, cause I just bought the soundtrack on Sunday. The first time I listend to the song that silverchair does with Vitro called "Spawn" I was thinking "What the hell? This isn't silverchair?!" But after listening to it a few more times I really like it, it still doesn't sound like silverchair in it, well it does in some parts, the parts with less electronica stuff in it, but I love the song! I was just thinking, what do you guys think of it? Do you think silverchair are headed in more of this heavier sounding stuff? The other tracks on "Spawn" Are really cool also!

NADINE- Well I personaly don't think silverchair sound or act anything like Nirvana did, I mean yeah, Daniel had long blonde hair as did Kurt, But so does Axl Rose and you don't see people saying silverchair sounds like Guns 'N' Rose do you? I think all that fuss was/is because silverchair because known to the world not that long after Kurt died and everyone was so obsessed with finding another Nirvana, that when a really talented three peice band with a long haired blonde, blue eyed frontman showed up they thought "AH-HA! It's Nirvana all over again!"

JASMIN- Hey I think yr quote idea is really good one, but I believe that Amanda, who's also on this list already is doing that, and I wouldn't want to steal her ideas or anything :)

CHRISTY- Well silverchair has been in Kerrang! almost every issue I've gotten lately, almost every week, and Hit Parrader useually has something on them. But yeah they used to be in stuff a lot more but that's alright, maybe this is a good thing tho yah know? maybe more *real* fans of silverchair will come about and less people who like them JUST for their looks.. who knows!

I jest had to write cos I'm feeling bad about not participating an shit so. I figure I'm gonna talk about the likeness between Nirvana an silverchair cos of someone mentioned it... Well anyways I'm just gonna say that there are a lot of ways that s'chair an Nirvana are alike, from stuff like the ways they make their video's to Daniel's hair but you know evry band has simmilarities to other bands an silverchair are originals and the rule cos of that an I wanted to say that I DON'T think they deliberately trie to be like NIRVANA so I reckon people should lay off an give them a brake cos they rock no matter what...

hey! i read in a magazine SAID by daniel himself so this isn't a lie or anything that the reason he cut his hair is because he hadn't brushed it for 2 1/2 years!! so all the hairs in the back got stuck together so instead of spending hours and hours of fixing it he just cut it:) later~ xoxo

hey guys....
you know, i just realized how much I hate living in canada. silverchair barely ever come here! they come to like 3 cities (vancouver, toronto, and montreal, and i don't live in any of them). i wish that they would do a total cross canada tour and go to the capital of every province. well, i heard they're doing shows in edmonton and calgary, but i don't live there either! if only they would come to winnipeg... hmmm.. we're supposed to talk about findaway. i think that this is a really catchy song music wise, and the lyrics are pretty cool too. the "we'll findaway, don't give in" part helps me at times when i feel like i just can't do anything right. it's telling us to like keep going and that if we want it bad enough or whatever, we'll find a way to get it. so i think that this song is really cool. if it seems like i'm babbling, try to ignore it, but i'm really tired. yet, i still came on the computer. maybe i should go to bed... take care everyone.
