Heyyyy everybody!

How are you guys doing? I hope good! Um lets see.. well first of all I wanted to say that I'm sorry about last weeks screwed up html version, but I hope that some people got to see the colours and that they looked good. But from now on it will be simple non html version, and I hope now everyone can enjoy the list again!

Also, I wanted to comment that although it may seem weird as happy as I am about silverchair all being 18(well as of monday.. happy birthday Chris!!) It kinda worrys me that now they'll be free to do basicly whatever they want to. I mean they won't be touring with their parents, they'll be able to legaly drink (and do god knows whatever else) and I mean I want them to have lots of fun and stuff cause it must have been a pain in the ass to tour with their parents but all the same I don't want them to do anything stupid you know what I mean? Does anybody agree with me? Or kinda think the same on this issue? I'm sure it would help if I was over 18 myself (and I wish i was! so much freedom! I can't wait!) and knew what it was really like, but everyone always makes a huge deal out of turning 18 and stuff and I just wanna make sure that Ben, Chris, and Daniel don't over do it on some of their new privledges(sp).

Oh! And I wanted to let everyone know that I am now on ICQ my name on there is *Twinstar* named after one of my favorite Veruca Salt songs and my universal ID number is 4888496 (i think) I just joined about two hours ago, so add me to your list when you get the chance and message me if I'm on! Thanks

And now about Acid Rain: Well I haven't really any connection to this song unless of course you could compare it to something else and just use acid rain for a medafore for something else that is slowly seaping into peoples minds, maybe some way of thinking or something.. but I think the song is just about, well, acid rain! *heh*

hmmm.... acid rain is definitely my fave all time b-side! i love it!! i didn't always like it, i mean when i first got my pure massacre single i liked blind more, but the more i listened to acid rain the more i loved it! the lyrics don't have that much meaning for me, but the music kicks, and it's awesome live (i have a live show in which they play it!) so umm, yeah!

anyways, how many people are on this list? like 60 somehting right? well where are the posts?? i'd love to read some other peoples' thoughts besides me and heidi's! so umm, like post and stuff!!

hmmm, acid rain, what do I think...
I don't think that I like it very much, but then again I just got the tomorrow ep last week and I haven't gotten used to it yet - maybe it'll grow on me, after all I was dissappointed with spawn the first time I heard it, but now it's one of my favourites...I'm gonna go listen to it over and over, and then I'll write what I REALLY think...
ok, I think i know what it is that bugs me about this song. It's the words acid rain, repeated over and over and over and over that gets to me - it just doesn't sound right. I couldn't listen to it more than twice. And the music is nothing special. Now blind on the other hand is soo much better - the lyrics make sense and are interesting and the music is really cool...stoned is cool too... Maybe it's because it was the
only sc song that I hadn't heard before adn the fact that i was expecting so much from it that i don't like it that much

I don't know that much about music - i can play some instruments, but I can never tell if they are being played well or not by other people, so i can't base my judgement of a song on anything besides whether or not i like the way teh music sounds, and what I think of the singing. Honestly, if I like the way daniel's voice sounds, that is the most influential factor in if I like the song or not...and i don't like the way it sounds in stoned. I think that this is the only song of theirs that i don't like...
by the way, is the version of tomorrow on the tomorrow ep the same as on frogstomp? it doesn't sound the same to me at all, daniel's voice sounds more trebl-y and it sounds like ther are 4 of him singing together, does anyone know what I mean??

hey, sorry this is so long, i got a bit carried away :) just one more thing, hope nobody minds, but I am making web page for school on privacy on teh internet, and i need to hear from high school aged girls on how they feel about privacy online...email me for more details, please, bc i need lots of responses
