Hey all you silverchair people!

Well, lets see where to start.. where to start.. well first of all thank you all for not hating me for not puting out an issue for like a month or however long it was but as I said in the intro I've been going thru some really hard crap in my life.. which I don't really want to get into right now cause it would just bother everyone.. and besides this list isn't all about me, it's about silverchair and so that's what I should be writing about right? alrighty then! so if you'll remember waayyy way back to the days of when this list came out regularly on saturdays then you'll remember that in our 44th issue the song quote was...: "Help me, Comfert me stop me from feeling what I'm feeling now" From Suicidal Dream.. so that's what I'll talk about first:

I think this quote is a very commen feeling that people who are suicidal and depressed get, because you feel so helpless when you get that depressed that you just want to end your life and you just feel like screaming out for help, but you're way past the stage where you feel like if you were to scream anybody would care.. at least that's how I've felt when I've been suicidal (which believe me has been a lot of times..) and so yup that's what I think about that quote...

And the question of the week was out of Ben, Chris, Or Daniel which one do you think would be most likely to be on a day time talk show like .. Jerry Springer or Ricki Lake or something, and what would the topic that they'd be on for be?: hmmm.. well I have to say that I think that Ben would be the most likely of the three of them to wind up on Jerry Springer and probably the topic would have something to do with him being the major chick puller that he is *hehe* althought I could see Daniel maybe on Jenny Jones on one of those makeover shows that she occasionaly has like cause his mum didn't like the way he dressed or that he wears makeup or whatever and him being all pissed off and stuff and then the people on the show like fixing him up to look all ... "normal" or something *lol* that would be rather interesting.. as for Chris.. I dunno.. I just don't see him being the crazy talkshow type person ..but then again who knows!!

And then the quote of the week was...: "Awwww.... I'm not trying to be punk....I just like it... mohawks are cool...when, when you like first get it done it's a bit of a shock... but other than that...yeah i like it..." Ben 17th Dec'97 *hehe* you gotta just love Ben dontcha? ;) umm well I dunno I think this quote is just about how people kinda gave him crap about his mohawk when he first got it done and everything but like he did it for himself cause he likes mohawks and thinks they're cool and that rocks cause like um.. yup it just does! *heh* sorry that was pointless.. buuuttt anyway it's late at night and stuff like that..

oh and to Megan who posted last time.. I think that your idea about having Gavin Rosedale of Bush joining silverchair so they could kick the crap outta him on stage is such a kick ass idea! I think you should write the 'Chair and tell them ;) heh

hehe, I think this would be damn funny. I mean, it doesn't appear that Bush is doing much music-wise, now does it? That would be weird, though, if fer some odd reason, not only did silverchair decide to add a member, but that it was someone who had a band previously. I'd like to see Gewn Stefani up there...lol "I'm just a girl with three guys!!" er even better, silverchair with special guests Spice Girls. Wouldn't we love to see Ben following Ginger Spice all over the place?

"Help me, Comfert me stop me from feeling what I'm feeling now" ~ To me this is the call of a suicidal person (no way!!), who really doesn't want to end it all. They want someone to be able to help them, to let those nasty suicidal feelings disappear, because they can't do it themselves.

Personally I can see them all end up on a talk show..maybe they can go head to head. Chris would end up on like, Jerry Springer~ "Revenge From Youth: People who were just too quiet and let their friends push them around when they were young. Now they're back, loud, and mad! Today, Christopher Joannou wishes to tell Benjamin Gillies and Daniel Johns how he felt about all those years of being pushed around." And then Chris comes out bitching, and he keeps mentioning how now he has a messed up digestive system cause scientists just discovered that crayons from the 80's had chemicals that were harmful if eaten.

Then Daniel would be on like, Oprah, as an inspirational type show. Daniel would be on, sobbing, about how he was a teen idol, and then all of a sudden he got a bad haircut and everything went spiraling downhill from there, but he found refuge in his best friend, Sweep, and Sweep gave him power to work up from the ground, and now he's a world-wide renouned Animal Communicator. He goes around the world, talking to animals, and he tells the owners what the animal desires...hehe.

Then, Ben...he'd be on Ricki Lake. It would be something like, "Daughters say, 'Dad, just grow up!'" This girl, let's call her Raine (hehe Heidi), will come out and be like, "Ricki, I just don't know what to do. I love my dad, but he's just too annoying. He always wants to go with me to parties that my friends throw, he buys me beer and wants to have a daughter/father bonding over a drink, and, Ricki, he looks at my best friend Adalita (hehe again Heidi) and tells me she has big boobs! I can't stand it!" Then Ben comes out and he gets boo-ed and he's like, "I can't help it! I miss my days in silverchair! I'm still a teen at heart!" and he breaks down crying... ok, I have too much time on my hands.

This to me is just his basic reaction. You haveta luv Ben though. He doesn't seem the type to do something because he wants to be punk er whatelse. He does it cause he likes it. Rawk on Ben..

I think I'll go do something else now..

haha far, FAR from it =) True I do have a very strong um, shall we say, DISLIKE for Pete but that's far from the reason all though that is a small part of it. I am absolutely not jealous though. Obviously you don't know Pete for what he really is if you can sit here and say that about what I had to say about him... and yu obviosly don't know much about me either. he DOES lie about silverchair related things and he DOES make inudendos that he has no place making. he stole that fancy chairpage job of his right out from under the nose of a FAR more eligable person. Many, MANY people who are, shall we say, "higher up" in the silverchair community don't care much for Pete for many reasons that I don't really care to discuss with you because, quite frankly, it's none of your business.
