By telling him or her about a special experience a family member had. Choose an experience your child has not heard.

Create your own legendary family figure. Choose a family member whose personality characteristics are easily exaggerated into superhuman qualities. Then make up a story about this person but set in today’s world.
Ask your child to create his own fable or myth.
