Activities:
1. List at least 10 kinds of pollution in the city.
2. Write a paragraph about ways you could help clean up your
     own environment.
    a. school
    b. your house
    c. your block

3. Draw a picture of a city, like the street you see on "Annie".
     Color very hard on the paper. Now paint over it in a "black
     Tempra Paint Wash". Watch the beauty of your picture shine
      "shine" through the "soot".

4. In your journal, write a story about Annie if her orphanage had
    been in the country, or on a farm instead.

5. Look through the classroom magazine collection and find an
    "Earth Day" article to report on back to the class. Don't forget:
     "who, what, where, when, why, how"
