Mysteries of FF7
FF7 was a great game, but haven't you wondered about some things in it? Here are some questions that I've raised while playing the game.
- Why is it that Sephiroth always leaves his sword lying around, yet somehow it always comes back to him?
- When you first see Sephiroth coming down to kill Aeris, he's not wearing gloves. But when he pulls his sword out, he's wearing them again!! So not only can the Masamune magically return to him, but so can his gloves!!
- In the flashback, how come Tifa was able to lift Sephiroth's sword and attack him with it? I mean, she was only 15 at the time and it's 8 feet long!! That's gotta be pretty damn heavy for her to lift it!!
- Why is it that Zack is always seen with the sword on his back, but Cloud never is? And why is Zack's sword upside down?
- How come there wasn't any blood when Aeris' died? Are Ancients bloodless or made out of cardboard or something?
- How come Cait Sith doesn't have any Level 3 or 4 Limit Breaks? Is it because Square knew no one would want to use him or because Slots had a lot of different outcomes?
- What's the point of the useless items like the Tissue, Autograph, Masamune Blade, Super Sweeper, and 1/35 SOLDIER?
- What's up with all those translating errors in the game? Like the Touph Ring or Safer-Sephiroth? It seems to me like Square just hired some bum off the street to translate the game in exchange for a cup of coffee and a donut.
- How come there's barely any mention about Aeris' death in Disc 2? I mean, you talk about her with Bugenhagen and mention her at the end of the Disc and when you go to face Sephiroth, but that's about it.
- In the instruction booklet, it says that Aeris is more interested in deepening the love triangle between herself, Cloud, and Tifa. WHAT love triangle?!? There seemed to be some tension at first, but that's IT!! Tifa and Aeris become good friends and there's not much of a love triangle at all.
- How come Vincent didn't have a sub-quest of his own? I know about how you can see Lucrecia in Disc 2, but all you see is some images from his past and it doesn't really explain much else. Instead, we're all left to wonder about Vincent's past. I mean, Square gave Yuffie a side-quest, and God knows Vincent deserves one more than THAT little brat!!
