Almost universally recognized as the greatest NBA player of all time,
Michael Jordan astounded any and all who followed the sport.
Whenever a person watched Michael in action, there was a good chance
that they would see something never done before and never since, in the
form of a spectacular shot of some kind.
A complete player, Michael dominated on both sides of the court and won the
adoration of millions of fans. In an age when sports figures often act
indecently and with arrogance, Michael Jordan was a fine example of how
a person should handle fame.
Rising above the challenges of his detractors, and such charges of being a
"one man show," Michael was able to make his teammates better and lead them
to 6 world championships.
There will never be another basketball player like Michael.
