Paul's Sugar Ray Concert Review

Hard Rock Live in Orlando,Fl
I was in computer class with my good friend Karina, when we went to ticketmaster.com. There we typed in diffrent band names, then I put Sugar Ray and they said they were gonna be in Orlando and West Palm Beach, I didnt think much about it cuz I was a fan but not a big enough fan to go all the way to Orlando, cuz the Plam Beach one was sold out. So a month passed. During spring break I decided to go, I was like "why not, only live once...there not comin to FL anytime soon again". So I asked my best friend Mari and she would go to the Orlando concert,it was only 3hrs away, so her parents said yes but she had the SAT on saturday morning and the concert was at 8pm on friday night, and we were gonna ahve to spend the weekend...so she couldnt go. So I went with my family..we bought 3 tickets in case my sis wanted to go..otherwise it was just gonna be me and my dad. So we get to the hotel...worst days inn imaginable...we usually stay in disney but since everythin was book cuz of grad night(which my skewl went to, i didnt see anyone there..i dont know many seniors tho) so the hotel smelled and it was all wet..no big deal. The next day(friday) we just went around Orlando, cuz we always got to disney. Ok so finally it was 5pm, we went back to the hotel and got ready. I got two camera cuz I promised Karina I'd take lots of pics for her,also I wanted some for myself. Only me and my dad went. We got General admission which was standing room only. So we get there at 6 and walk around till 6:30 and got in the line. Finally at 7 they opened the door and since I was one of the first ones there I ran to the front of the stage. My dad was a couple of peeps back. So we stand there till like 8, then at 8 on the dot the opening band came on...Cider...they were really good! You know for an opening band. So then came the part they got the stage ready for Sugar Ray. Gosh that was the worst part...it took like half an hour to set up the stage and test the mics. So finally Sugar Ray comes in. It was awsome. Mark went jumping around the stage and I started taking pics. One of the guards told me no flash but eventually he just ignored me and let me take as many pics with flash as I want. The concert was a A+, I've never been to a more excellent concert. When he sang Fly Mark said "anyone lose someone? well tonight were gonna remeber them" so I thought of my dad's horse and My friend Melissa who, even tho I was only friends with till I graduated 8th grade and probaly spoke to her one minute with in two years, became a major factor of my life. It was awsome..Mark did know how to control the crowd...a true charcter, he brought up 2 people on stage, he came alot to my side so I got really close up pics of him. He even became my idol after that...I did my hair and streaks like him (I'm such a loser) He sang all the songs I like: Falls Apart,Someday,and Fly-also cuz there the most popular 1s.The night was awsome I was in the front the whole time...2 ft away from the band. and I realized there were alot of kids there...one girl was tryin to ge to the front after mark said thanxs to her for giving him roses...the couple next to me cut her off cuz she was becoming extremly rude..i let her get next to me but she wanted IN FRONT of me and in front of that couple so the couple just said "F- that" and cut her...lol she must have been 11 but it was funny..I enjoyed myself the entire time, except for this other 11 yr old (it was a boy) who was tryin to do a mosh pit or something that was right next to me. So I ended up takin 50 pics...they were all good (give or take a couple that peeps hands got in the way)...I gave the doubles to Karina. Everyone thought the pics were great.
