Chapter Three

The night was going by fast, too fast. I knew I had to do something to make Todd open up more. The jukebox was playing a song I remembered from my teenage days and I wanted to dance. Ron was back at playing pool with some of the others. In my mind, he was a terrible date! But if I didn't have Todd here to look at and talk to, I would have been pissed and left by now. I took a deep breath, stood up, walked behind Todd and said in his ear, so he could hear me, "Would you dance with me?"

He looked a little shocked for a second. Then he became obviously nervous. This only made me want him more, wanting to break into the inner man that I was sure was just as beautiful as the outside.

"Yeah, sure," he said, standing up.

We walked to a spot on the floor and I held out my hands for him to come to me. He wiped his hands on his jeans and slowly brought them to mine. We first started to dance very slowly and awkwardly. I moved in closer, until we were chest to chest. I could feel his heart beating and his breath on the side of my face. Damn, I was getting hot. I lingered in the moment for awhile and then decided it was time to ask more questions.

"You said you are fairly new here. Where did you come here from?" I asked, hoping he would open up.

"I....I am from Llanview. Llanview Pennsylvania", he said.

"Oh, I think I know where that is. You have family there?" I proceeded.

"Yeah, I have a sister, well half sister." He paused for a while. "And a daughter".

I was shocked to hear that bit of information. So, I left it at that for a minute and continued to dance. The song was almost over, and I was running out of time. We danced, face to face. His warm breath was hitting me; I drank it in.

The song ended and we stood there, facing each other. God knows, I wanted him to kiss me. I was hoping the next song would be a slow one, but not my luck. We walked back to the table.

"I need another drink, would you like one?" he asked

"Sure.." I reached for my purse.

"I got it," he said walking to the bar.

I sat there, watching him walk away. I was staring at Todd when I was snapped out of it by Ron. He was standing in front of me.

"You about ready to go?" he asked

I looked at him and felt like yelling NO! I wanted to stay as long as Todd did.

"Well, Todd just went to get me another drink....." I said

"Oh", Ron said looking over at Todd standing at the bar. "Well, I guess one more won't hurt. I'll be right back, " he said, walking toward the bar too.

I sat there, feeling a little guilty. After all, I was his date and I spent the whole night trying to get closer to another man. I watched as the two of them stood at the bar, talking. They laughed and then Todd turned and looked at me. I then became so paranoid. What were they talking about? What did Ron say? What did Todd say? I was driving myself nuts. I noticed Ron pulled out enough money to cover my drink as well as his.

"Here ya go," Ron said as he sat my drink down on the table.

"Thanks," I said, looking for where Todd went.

Chapter Four

The evening ended with Ron driving me home. We sat in(add space)front of my house, in the car. I was disappointed that Todd disappeared on me. Now here I was, alone with Ron. We sat there in that awkward silence of not knowing what to say. Finally I spoke.

"So, what were you and Todd talking about at the bar? Was it about me?" I said maybe afraid to know the answer.

"Oh, you think we were taking about you?" he said in a teasingly tone "If you must know, Todd just said that I was a lucky man. And that you were very nice."

Shocked and thrilled, I sat there with my mouth hanging open, or it felt like it was. My heart was pounding. Ron moved in closer to me. I knew what he wanted.

"I really had a nice time. Can we do it again next weekend? We should be done at the site in about a week and a half. We always have a last night out when we are done with a job. So I thought if you want we can go out next Saturday, just the two of us," Ron said, moving in even more.

"Umm.....I am not too sure what's going on for me next weekend. Can I get back to you Monday at the site?" I stumbled to say.

"Sure, no problem," he said with a hint of disappointment. "Well, it's late and I bet your are beat."

"Yeah, I guess I should get inside. Thanks for everything," I said and with that, leaned in and gave him a small peck.

Ron took the small kiss as a sign of some sort. He landed a long, lingering kiss on me. It did feel good to be kissed again. I stopped it after a few seconds.

"Well, good night then," I said as I opened the car door. I continued to walk up the walk to the front door. Ron stayed there until he saw that I was inside.

I shut the door, and put my keys on the table in the entryway. What a night. I walked to the kitchen, removing my shoes and earrings on the way. I poured myself a glass of wine and sat on the sofa. It didn't take long for my mind to wander back to the dance Todd and I shared. I closed my eyes, twirling a strand of hair, while remembering his breath on my face.

I took my wine, and went to the bathroom. I drew myself a hot bath. I slid into the hot bubble bath and let out a sigh when fully in. I just could not get Todd out of my mind. I just wanted to touch him and have him touch me, all over. While I was thinking of what it must feel like to have his hands all over me, my hands began to wander down to my breasts. I sat the glass of wine down on the side of the tub. Both hands were exploring my breasts. Then I moved one of them down to my throbbing clit. Just thinking of Todd's hands on me made me hot and ready. I brought myself to orgasm fairly quickly, softly calling out his name. After the rapture left my body, I soaked in the hot water, wishing Todd was here with me.
