OLD NEWS:
Thursday, Jan. 2nd, 2003
We jammed with Juke Box Jake & Nostromo on Dobro, it'll be a sweet sound if he can stop the feedback.

Saturday, Jan. 2nd, 2002
Motor City Mystery elects not to play Detroit as all three members have had pizza, beer bottles and other projectiles thrown at them every time their previous bands have played Detroit, regardless of the venue. Instead, they begin their long tour in Peoria, IL and play their first show at the East Peoria American Legion hall with The DFX and Super 88, both from Peoria. Motor City Mystery still loves Detroit, they just hate playing there.

Thursday, Nov. 14th, 2001
Motor City Mystery forms as a fun side project to Adom-9's 52bluecandyhearts and Billy Blue Jeans #6's Moo Choir in Adom-9's basement! They're looking for a bass player.

Friday, Sept. 13th, 2001
After the terrible events of September 11th, Adom-9 and Checkout Jack move into their new pad and talk about beginning a rockabilly/garage rock group, then soon realize that they do not have access to a garage and must resort to starting a rockabilly/surf group. The idea soon falls to the weyside.
