TOPIC
This second grade unit teaches students the different characteristics of mammals and birds. The unit can easily be implemented with first grade students and younger special education students. This unit can also be implemented when teaching fish, amphibians, and reptiles. I have created this unit to be utilized in a classroom, but can also be done by a child at his/her individual home. The unit will integrate Social Science, Fine Arts, and Language Arts disciplines.
