~*Chapter 5*~
The paramedics came within 5 minutes. Police right after for
questioning.
Steph wanted to ride with Kim back to the hospital. They let her. "Nick
I
think you give a new meaning for fighting for the woman you love."
Brian said
trying to cheer him up which he knew would not work. Steph walked up to
them.
Brian put his arm around her and said, "She'll be okay I know she will.
Steph just cried on his shoulder. "Well, they are going to let me ride
with
her. Will you do me a favor? I don't want to leave Kim's car up here
will you
drive it to the hospital for her?"
"Sure" Nick said. "Thanks. Here is her car Keys its a red Convertible.
Licenses plate says FricFrak. its our Nicknames for each other. Just be
careful with it she'll Kill you if you did anything to it."
"okay. We'll be there in an hour."
She got into the ambulance with Kim. Nick and Brian looked at each
other.
"FricFrak? Those are our nicknames." Nick said. "WEIRD" Brian said.
"What's
Weird?" Howie asked. As the guys walked up to them. "Well, Steph asked
us to
drive Kim's car to the hospital. But her licenses plate says FricFrak.
And
its their nickname too." Brian said. "Whoa that is weird. Your
nicknames
too." Kevin said.
"Well, we better go to the hospital. We'll be home late. we might even
stay
the night."
"Okay be careful. Bye guys"
"Bye"
Brian and Nick walked out to the parking lot. They found it easily. It
was
the ONLY nice looking car. "Wow Kim has style." Brian said. Nick got
in the
drivers seat and started it up. It roared like a tiger. "Its got Power"
Nick
said. Boys II men was playing in the CD player. Nick pulled out and
drove
towards the hospital.
~*chapter 6*~
Nick and Brian arrived at the hospital and found Steph. Brian
immediately ran
up to her and engulfed her in his arms. He liked the fact that she
seemed so
caring yet she needed someone to depend on. "Steph it'll be OK, I
promise."
Brian whispered in her ear. "really? you promise?" Steph sobbed back.
Brian
looked in her eyes. "yes." Was all he said. "thank you Brian." Steph
said
laying her head on his shoulder. "for what?" Brian asked. "for being
here,
even though you don't really know me, for caring." Steph smiled as she
looked
up at him. Nick didn't know what to do. He wanted to know what was
going on
with Kim.
"Steph have they checked Kim yet?" No not yet. they wouldn't let me go
and
see her. I'm so scared." Nick was hurting inside even though he really
didn't
know her. He knew he was falling in love. "Mrs. Jones?" the doctor
said
coming up from behind her. "Yes?" "Kim is Doing fine she is still in
a coma
but her vital signs are good. You can go see her now. She's in room

"Thank you" Steph looked at Brian. Then at Nick and started walking
fast
toward her room.
~*Chapter 7*~
Steph slowly walked in Kim's room... Tears fell as she saw her best
friend
hooked up to machines and IV's. she quietly sat down next to the bed.
"Kim
you gotta wake up, please wake up.. I need you...you know how depressed
I've
been for the past few months, Kim you're the only one who could stop me
when
I wanted to kill myself, remember, Gosh I love you like a sister, come
back
Kim please." Steph begged and crying at the same time. Steph jumped
when she
heard a light tapping on the door behind her. "can we come in?" Nick
asked
quietly. Steph nodded as Brian and Nick entered. Brian walked over to
Steph
and wrapped his arms around her. Nick walked over to Kim. "Guys can I
speak
to her alone?" Nick asked. Steph nodded as Brian led her out of Kim's
room.
"Kim I know we don't know each other but I'm falling in love with you.
I
want you to wake up. Steph is a wreck. She needs you. Brian, that's
my
friend, he's trying to help but its not working. Please wake up.
I......"
Nick was cut off by his own sobs. "I love you." Tap Tap Nick
quickly
dried his sobs. "Can we come in?" Steph said still in sobs. "Sure"
Steph
came in and sat in the chair. "You guys can go home if you want you
don't
have to stay here." We want to." Nick said. As Brian nodded.
After a while Steph fell asleep. And Nick wanted to talk to Brian, so
Brian
kissed Steph on the head and they walked out the door. "Yeah man what
is
it?" Brian said. " Man I don't know if I can last much longer without
her.
If I can break down while talking-to her could you imagine not having
her?"
"Frack you have to be strong. She'll come out. I know she will. I
promise
like I promise Steph. Steph is having a hard time handling it but
she's
strong. She knows Kim will come out of it."
"alright" Nick said drying his tears. They gave each other a manly hug
and
walked back in. Both of them crashed on the floor.

Kim groaned. She woke up. "Where am I?" she said. She sat up and saw
the
guys on the floor. "Aww how cute. Steph? Wake up. Stteeeph?" " OMG
your
awake. Are you OK?" Steph said jumping up. She gave her a hug. After
they
released Steph saw the guys on the floor. "Hey guys wake up she's
awake."
She said. Steph grabbed one of Kim's pillows and beat them with it.
They
jumped . "what are you doing?" Nick asked. He saw Kim. "OMG Brian
she's
awake." "That's great How are you feeling?" Brian asked. "I'm great
except I
have these tubes in my arm. I just wanna say thank you for Helping me
last
night. He never gives up. Thank you so much." Kim said. "Hey its no
problem. By the way my name is Nick and this is Brian." Nick walks
over to
the bed. "and my friend has a crush on your friend." He whispered. "IM
going
to tell her." She said. Nick winked at her and smiled. "Well, IM
going to
get the doctor. I'll be right back." Steph said overjoyed that Kim woke
up.
Steph was back in 2 minutes. "Well, Kim How are you feeling?" I'm
great.
When can I go home?" she asked. Well, I'd like to keep you one more
night
and if you don't have any problems or any relapses then you can go
first
thing tomorrow morning. "Great." "well I'm going to check on some other
patients. You take care."
"Hey guys can I talk to you outside?" Steph said. "Sure we'll be
right
back." Nick said smiling. They stepped out side. "what is it?" Brian
said.
"maybe we should though a party for her home coming. You can invite
all the
people you want. There is a list of people in my address book on my
desk.
Could you get those people for me. call them and tell them what's going
on.
They will help with the decorations. Here is a key to our house. Its

fun."
Steph said handing them a 20. " This is going to be fun." Nick said.
"well
we will go do that now OK? talk to you later." Brian said. "OK bye
bye"
"later." Brian kissed her in the forehead and walked off. "They live
on the
same street as us. This is so cool." Yea it is Lets go plan. Brian
said
walking towards the car.
Steph walked back into the room. "Where did the guys go?" Kim asked
curiously. "They had to run a few earns they'll be back later." Steph
said
trying to keep her excitement in. "That's cool." Kim replied. For the
next
couple of hours they just sat there and talked. To the
guys.
The guys reached their house without a problem. Thats cause they knew
where
to go. "Wow their house is bigger than ours." Nick said. Getting out
of the
car. "Its bigger than yours and mine put together." Brian stated. It
was a
dark blue with white trim 2 story house. They opened the door to a
palace.
It was beautiful. Dark blue furniture Big screen TV, a million movies
beside
it. They gawked at the huge house. Nick and Brian decided to take a
look
around. Before they left. Brian stayed on the bottom floor and Nick
headed
up stairs. Nick was amazed by how many rooms there were. 20 people
could
live there without being overcrowd. He checked most of the rooms and
they
were for pleasure. There was a weigh room and many rooms were for
guest. He
was down to two rooms. He knew it was the girls so he didn't go in. He
headed
back down stairs. Brian was sitting on the couch using the phone.
Nick
didn't want to bother him so he just sat down beside him. Then he
notice a
Super Nintendo on the floor. 'Wow he thought not only are these girls
rich
but they play Nintendo.' Nick turned on the TV and played while Brian
called
all of their friends and the girls friends.
