The Bible teaches that we cannot earn Heaven on our own. Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Since Heaven is a gift, it cannot be earned. As the Bible says, this gift comes through faith and not through our own works. The Bible teaches us how we can KNOW for sure that we have a home in Heaven. |
