Time for repairs

This car has given its life to the project. Aquired for a hundred bucks in Illinois. Althought it is a pile of rust and damage there was still a cornicopia of parts to be gleened from it.Believe it or not I drove it into the garage!

Enter the beast.

Though my body is rusted and beaten I started out this life as an Accopulco. My blue and white striped seats are all that remains to hint at my beginnings.

Help!!I'm getting ripped apart!

By the time Kurt was finished with me I had given up my running engine, seats(he says I'll get new covers and inerts),steering column(which has been refitted with new steering wheel, horn, turn signal switch and wiper switch),my hood (that has already been stripped of the 6 paint jobs and been primered),wiper motor, gas gauge, speedo, door hinges and other various parts.

Farewell cruel world!

My previous owner was a 14 year old who drove me through fields knocking off rust as we went, denting and damaging my fenders and pushing my bumpers far into my body..His home paint job was the worst embarassment tho... Now that Kurt is through picking me apart my last destination is the crusher...I hope I come back as a recycled GTI, or maybe a neww beetle....Hmmmm.....
