the 1910's
the early 1910's (1910-1914):
High waistlines, narrow skirts, exotic trimmings, elegant fashions of the Edwardian era
the mid & late 1910's (1915-1919):
Hemlines begin to rise as fashions become more practical, and women working in factories during World War I begin to bob their hair, although ultra-feminine dresses and Mary Pickford-style curls are still popular
