Objectives:
To use multi-media resources to find information about a specific subject.

historical perspective about the tumultuous events which occurred during

Renaissance period. To assess a particular situation and identify
the main players
and the main points or conflicts. To extract the essence of a particular
war, situation,
character, person. To exhibit such knowledge in writing.

Lesson 5: Put yourself in A Day in the Life of:
Objectives:
To use multi-media resources to find information about a specific subject.
To learn
about a multitude of characters from the Renaissance Period. To identify
elemental
characteristics about a particular person from that period and the surrounding
environment that informs on that particular person's characteristics.
To utilize this
information in a creative writing process that reflects the writers knowledge
of his/her
subject matter and the writer's own characteristics.

Lesson 6: Design a Renaissance Garden Plan.
Objectives:
To use multi-media resources to find information about a specific subject.
To learn
about classical forms of garden design, aesthetic principles of the Renaissance
and its
gardens. To have a familiarity with
classic and timeless horticulture. To exercise
compositional skills with an emphasis on color, texture and perspective.
To exercise
mathematic skills in scale, proportion, height and volume. To give
the design a
personal stamp. To be able to extract its essence in one direct,
succint sentence.
