The Maria & Matthew Looney Series

Below are pictures of the Avon-Camelot covers of all seven books in the fantastic Looney series written by Jerome Beatty, Jr. The entire book series, inside and out, was adorned with wonderfully spaced-out illustrations created by Gahan Wilson.

On 5 November 2000, I had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Beatty about life, Matthew Looney and everything. A transcript of that interview will be made available here shortly. Stay tuned.
