There is a story about a man who was on the beach throwing stranded starfish
back into the water. Another man came along and asked the first man what he was doing.
'Saving these starfish' said the first man.
The second man looked at all the thousands of starfish lying on the beach - as far as the eye could see.
'But you're not making any difference', he said.
Looking at the starfish he was holding in his hands, the first man replied
'I am making a big difference to this one', and threw it back into the sea.
