Chapter 5 : Power Outage

Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter slowly came back to their consciousness. Both looked around then quickly jumped to their feet. “Oh No! Where’s Mercury!?” Moon screeched. Jupiter frumped back down to the street. “I guess she was next on the list...” “This can’t be happening!” Moon cried out. Jupiter looked up at her, “We have no time to be grieving, we have to be strong, Sailor Moon, in order to beat these witches!” “I know... but it’s hard... it’s hard not knowing which of your friends you will lose next.” Sailor Moon said sadly. “We’ll make it Sailor Moon, I promise you that.” Jupiter told her as she morphed back to her normal form of Lita. Moon also went back to her normal self. Ruby and Crystal were once again watching the remaining two from the staff’s blur aboard their spaceship. “Look at them, they’re really scared.” Crystal said. The sisters looked at each other then smiled and giggled. “We’ve only got two more... and we win!” Ruby announced excitedly. “well... who’s next?” asked Crystal. Ruby turned to the blur and demanded, “Who is next?!” Two pictures appeared again one of Jupiter and one of Lita. “Lita/Sailor Jupiter!” the mysterious voice boomed. “STOP!” yelled Ruby and the staff halted in movement. Ruby held out her hand and the staff floated into it. “Let’s go shake em’ up a bit.” Ruby suggested. Crystal nodded in agreement and with that the two sisters transported themselves down to where the remaining scouts were standing. Serena saw them and grabbed Lita’s sleeve and yanked her away quickly, “RUN!” Serena yelped and they took off. For fun, the sisters chased them a small while but stopped and went back to the ship after it got boring. “they’re not behind us are they?!” asked Serena. Lita looked back and answered, “no.” and slowed down to stop. When both had finally stopped they panted trying to catch their breath. “So... Where do we... go from... here?” asked Lita. “We need... a good... hiding place.” Serena replied. “How about we go to your house, rest up, and get into battle mode?” Lita suggested. “They are NOT going to get us!” she finished angrily. “Right!” Serena said. The two walked to Serena’s house. “So how are we going to get this girl?” asked Crystal. “Easily, we track her down, then we kill her.” Ruby smiled at her sister and walked over to a giant window and looked at the billions of glowing stars. “Do You feel it, Crystal?” she asked. Her sister just looked at her strangely. “The power of our planet, Nemesis, it’s returning to us... slowly...” Ruby said and took in a deep breath. “In a matter of days, we will rule this planet.” she finished. Crystal stood up and joined Ruby “Those earthlings won’t know what hit em’!” she announced. The sisters stood looking down upon the green, blue, and white sphere. “It’s really to bad... It’s a beautiful planet.” Crystal said with a smirk. As the dark cloak of night covered the skies over Tokyo, two shadowy silhouettes, lighted only by the moon, stood atop an old abandoned building on the edge of the city. “Why’d we come here to fight? I forgot.” one asked. “So we can let loose with our powers without damaging any good property.” the other informed her. As the two girls stood watching the horizon, another two dark figures were approaching fast. “Look! there they are!” The tall girl announced and stepped forward, “Jupiter Thunderclap ZAP!” she called out. The bright disc flew right past Crystal’s face nearly hitting her. “HEY!” she yelped. “They’re right there! Let’s get em’!” announced Ruby. The girls atop the building stood their ground and waited for the sisters to land. Once they did the anger inside Sailor Jupiter had boiled over and she screamed with tears streaming from her eyes, “YOU’LL PAY DEARLY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY FRIENDS!” she ran at Ruby and tackled her, knocking the Burgundy haired woman to the concrete rooftop. Ruby flinched as her back smacked down on the hard surface. She then looked up at Jupiter with hateful eyes, “What do you think you’re doing, girl?!” “THIS!” Jupiter yelled and slammed her fist into the side of Ruby’s face. Ruby just looked back up at her, “Wrong move, B*TCH?” Jupiter looked at her evilly, “Here let me try again!” she yelled as she let fist after fist pound into Ruby. Sailor Moon and Crystal watched the two fight. “She’s pretty good.” commented Crystal. “Yep, she’s the best.” replied Moon grinning. Suddenly the grin faded from her face. “Wait a sec... shouldn’t we be fighting to?!” and as Moon turned quickly to face Crystal and arrow was pulled back in a bow aimed right to her forehead. Crystal just smiled at her. “uh oh!” Sailor Moon gasped and turned to run. A few seconds after she started running she heard, “Red Water of Eternity!” and the arrow found it’s mark on Sailor Moon’s back. She fell over face first onto the pavement. “That’ll take care of you for a while.” Crystal said giggling and then ran over to help her sister. “Get off her!” she yelled as she grabbed Jupiter’s arms and held them back in a Full Nelson. Ruby pulled herself up and gave a glassy hard stare at Jupiter. “Now it’s your turn!” she screamed and pulled back a fist and landed a direct hit into Jupiter’s face. Ruby let fist after fist smack hard into the sailor soldier’s battered face. After awhile Ruby stopped and took a look at the damage she did. Jupiter had two black eyes, a broken nose, bruises everywhere, and blood slowly dripping from her nostrils and small cuts in her lips. “Let her go, Crystal!” Ruby demanded of her sister. Crystal let go and backed off a bit. Jupiter fell to the ground as Ruby circled her. “How are you feeling now little girl?!” Ruby asked in sarcastic anger as she kicked the young soldier in the ribs. Jupiter doubled up in pain. Ruby taunted her and laughed. The Sailor of green stood up and Crescent Kicked Ruby then jumped behind her. Ruby was about to topple off the edge as she tried to catch her balance. Jupiter placed her hands on Ruby’s upper back and shoved her off, “DIE!” she yelled. “NOOOOOOOOO!!!” Crystal screeched. The voice of Ruby could be heard not to far below, “You should’ve known better than that” she said as she floated up to meet Jupiter and hovered in front of her “Stupid Girl!” she yelped and grabbed the sailor girl by the shoulders and pulled her off. “NO JUPITER!” Moon screamed in horror. ”Bye Bye!” Ruby called down as Jupiter’s body hit the pavement below with a loud thud. “I bet that hurt!” Ruby giggled to herself. Ruby levitated over to her sister, “Crystal, let me use your sword.” Crystal handed her the sparkling blade. Ruby took it and floated over to the edge, then flipped over so she was floating head down. She then adjusted the sword so it would hit right. Ruby screamed aloud as she flew at a high speed down to the pavement holding out the blade. The sword went right through Jupiter’s beat up and crushed body. Ruby landed on the pavement and pulled the sword out of Jupiter’s body and blood oozed from the wound. Ruby laughed at the sickening sight and flew back up to the top where her sister was waiting. She handed the bloody sword back to Crystal and walked over to Moon. “You’re next!” she said and kicked her in the side. “C’mon, Ruby, let’s go get the energy from her.” Crystal said. “ok.” Ruby answered and followed her younger sister down to where the body lay. The aura encircled them all and then quickly faded. Then the two sisters giggled and left the seen.
