Collen Rising, Part 3

MERCURY!! Rini screamed again and managed to bite Asha's wrist. He yelled out in pain and threw her against a wall, leaving a dent. He growled, blood flowing freely from the bite marks. He ripped off part of Diamond's old cape and wrapped it around his wrist. He slammed various crystals at her, then picked her up and threw her against a wall. Collen watched, sitting sideways in Diamond's old throne knees over the left armrest and her back on the left. "Must you be so rough, Asha? Remember our plan?" "You're 15, Collen, I'm 18. And we're in this together, remember?" Collen nodded, drinking the red wine in her hand. A young man with blonde hair, black general's uniform and a scar across his eye stepped up in the dark room, and put his left hand on his right shoulder and bowed. "Prince, princess, the kingdom is destroyed but the scouts and the king and queen live on." "Unfortunately." Collen scowled, sipping her wine. "We're saving Serenity for last." "I say we strike NOW. They're having the pyro's funeral." Asha looked quite amused at the sphere showing Sailor Mar's funeral. Collen got up and looked. She smiled and the three disappeared, leaving Rini attached to the wall with the chains. ~*~ "May I present to you . . ." The entire funeral came to a halt as the blonde lowered from the sky. Despite his clothes and scars, he strongly resembled Jadeite. Everyone looked and Jupiter stepped up. "Who are you?" she ordered. The blonde didn't reply instead, went on with his introduction. "Prince Asha and Princess Caldronia re'Adamant." Asha and Collen lowered from the sky, their grins full of evil. "You again! JUPITER THUNDER DRAGON!" She threw it at Asha but the male blocked it with Jadeite's shield. "And I am Jadeite's descendent, Iolite. But you may call me Io for short." Mercury was too busy scanning their statistics again. "Io's weak against fire! And Mars is dead!" "Oh, what are you to do?" Io said, sarcasm strong in his voice. He towered over her suddenly and kicked her in the face as soon as she looked up. Two yomas appeared behind her and grabbed her arms and legs. A crystal sword appeared in Io's hand and the yomas lifted Mercury into the air above the scouts. Mercury screamed as Io chopped off her right arm and watched it fall to the ground. Blood gushed from her shoulder as she screamed. The yoma grabbed her hair and held her head still as Io lifted the sword above his head. The others watched with horror as Io decapitated Mercury, her head falling at Serenity's feet. Her body followed, crunching as it hit the coffin Mars rested in. The scouts screamed in horror as the murderers materialized, laughing evilly. ~ To be continued ~
