To the Kitty's Korner

Hi there! My name is Mickey, but mommy and

daddy usually call me "kitty" or whatever

else comes to mind. (hee hee)

Mommy and daddy adopted me when I was 8

weeks old from a shelter mommy used to work at.

I was born July 19, 1998, so I am just about to turn 2 years old.

I am a "polydactyl", which means that I have

six toes on each paw instead of five.

Mommy and daddy made sure to have completely

declawed. :-) Daddy sometimes calls me a

"mutant", but I know he's just teasing.

The other night I caught a mouse :-) I took it

into mommy and daddy's bedroom (at 2:45 am)

and kept jumping up and down on mommy's legs

to wake her up. I think that she was quite shocked when

she woke up. She woke up daddy to get rid of the mouse.

When mommy and daddy give me treats, I sit

up on my hind legs like a squirrel. My favorite hobby is

to sit in the kitchen window and birdwatch. They like to eat

the dog food that is left over in the bowl and the

squirrel corn that is on the tree.

Here lately, I've been wanting to explore the

outdoors, but mommy and daddy won't let me out

because I'm declawed. Once in awhile, they'll let

me on the back porch while watching me so I

won't go somewhere too far away.

I get really upset if everybody goes outside

without me. I howl and cry and then try to climb through

mommy's miniblinds so I can see them. She gets

really upset with me when I do that. She's learning to open

them before she leaves now. I'd say I'm getting

her trained pretty well.

Well, I'm off to go get in some trouble now, so take a look

at my pics below (maybe mom will update them soon)

and visit me again soon :-)
