UK SPEAKING CALENDAR

Below is a picture of the calendar as it will sit on your desk using MAX one of the many Microsoft Agents you have to chose from .They will announce your appintments for you. I use this calendar to enter my appointments,tell me at a certain time what is on my schedual for the next day before I go to bed just in case I need to have things in order and just so I dont forget any little thing that I might need to remember *S* Then if you double click on the calendar he will tell you the current date.The date is also at the top of the Calendar. MAX can be made to hide and only come back on the page when he is giving an announcement. The current date is always flashing on the face of the Calendar and if you have an appointment sc heduled it will be underlined. You can view the appointments for that day by clicking on the date underlined you want to check, that will tell you how many appointments are there and give you a chance to view them. If you dont want to view the! m at that time th e Calendar will ask you if you have any new appointments to make. I really like that feature because there have been times I did need to enter another appointment and it had slipped my mind (happens at my age ya know).If you want to work on your desk top you can always hide the Calendar which frees up the desktop but ke eps the Calendar running to announce new messages or alarms or just leave it on the desk top and it can be covered by other programs.Its your choice either way you never miss a message or and alarm.

I love the new look of this calendar.....it seems the programs get better and better.

Now below is a picture of the appointment manager Its here you set in your appointments or review the ones already in place or to set an alarm and you can request a confermation.

Wh en the announcement or appointment is about to be read to you by the MS AGENT of your choice....you the user had to click on the OK to listen to it. Until this is done a reminder box will be shown. You may set appointments to repeat hourly,weekly,monthly and yearly. If you turn off your pc and miss an appointment it will remind you on your next start up.

UK SPEAKING CLOCK
Now we come to the SPEAKING CLOCK this is the first program I got from Uk Software and I love the changes I have seen and use it all the time on my desk top along with the Calendar. My niece loves to play with the speaking calulator that comes with the add ons......But getting ahead of myself here we will start by looking at the clock with a few of the many different skins you can download at the Speaking Clock Main Page.

This first one is called the Jelly Bean Skin with your favorite agents ready to announce the time and its up to you to set the clock to when you want the time read to you every 15mins. or half and hr. its up to you every 5 min if you want to thats the great thing about this clock,you make it the way you want it by using the Microsoft agents seen here or ones you download and choose yourself.

And with the many different skins you can give the clock the look you like the best.

This seems to be the most popular skin its called the Wood Effect skin but there are so many nice skins with this program I find it hard to choose just one skin I

find myself switching all the time depending on my moods.....or what looks best to me on that day *S*.

This brings me to The Type and Speak feature, here what ever you type in the box the selected character speaks....Now talking to the programmer of this software he gave me a great idea .....use this to record your answering machine messages....if your like me I hate to call home and hear ME!!!...on the answering machine *S* also this setting will let you change the skin of the clock to whatever you want it to look like... one of the newest setting of this clock is the stopwatch setting shown here And as you can see Im using 2 agents Uksoftwares own Clocky and Phoney quite a pair....but with this setting you can choose to use one or two agents and you can make it use whatever agents you have downloaded on your Pc.. And one more thing about the programmer at UK Software.....If you have any questions or need any help at all I have never downloa ded a program where I get so much help and answers to my questions so fast.....He has become a one of my very best friends...that is rare in this fast paced life on the internet......but dont be afraid to ask any question at all thats the only way you learn and of course buy the program if you like it its the only way we can keep getting better and better programs like the Calender and the Clock.....show them you love the product they make by purchasing it......*S*....ok down off my soap box *S*.....I will move on.

This is one of the many add ons that come with the clock this is great for the kids It the Times Table add on ......as you can see we have Becky here to help us he will choose which numbers we are going to use today like maybe the 2s or 8s or up to 12 times. The agent will ask you the times table question, give you so many sec. to answer and put your answer in and hit enter at the end of the lesson he will tell you how well you did ........ This is just one of the many add ons that come with the clock there is also a speaking Calculator........a date add on and also the agents do a little play for your pleasure.....
