Chapter 1 What about Andy?

Conner McDermott

I am going to admit something, so don't even THINK I told you so! I was...I made...I shouldn't have...Elizabeth was...I shouldn't have kicked Elizabeth out of the house. There! I said it, OK? You happy, now? I keep thinking about her, and it's not her fault. Basically, it's mine. If she was living with me...and Megan...OK, so basically it sums up to this: I am going to apologize one way or another.

Jessica Wakefield

Will Simmons....WILL SIMMONS?!! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Will SIMMONS! Great, just great! I can't tell Jeremy or...wow. How did this happen? Doesn't Will need rebound time? Doesn't he know that there is NO WAY I could possibly go out with him, when I have Jeremy? Why are there so many questions? There is only one thing to do about this, and that is shut Will out of my life!

"Well, if it isn't miss Tia, and she's wearing her snazzy new boots! Can I borrow them sometime, Tia? They would look just dandy on me!" Andy Marsden crooned to Tia Ramirez as he sat down next to her at lunch.

She arched on of her brows and turned her black sweater clad back away from him and started gabbing away with Jessica Wakefield. Andy sighed, and dug into his lunch. At times like this, he really wanted a girlfriend. What?! Where did that come from, Andy?! He thought to himself. He had never really had a real girlfriend. Just...dates.

Ken Matthews, Elizabeth Wakefield, and Maria Slater all wandered over to their table. Andy didn't know why, but he felt as though he and Ken were going to become good friends, but Andy wanted more He liked Ken, he really did, it was just...he wanted a girlfriend! He started to glance around the lunch room, until he spotted her.

Delilah. He thought, sighing to himself. Ever since, oh, ever since he was 1 day old, he had loved that girl. They had been born on the same day, and the rest was fate. They had never talked about anything except maybe some homework here and there, and NO ONE (Not even Tia, not even Conner, and not even Angel!) knew how he adored her. How was he going to get her to notice him?

"Like I was SAYING, Tee, he is such a sweetheart! I am so glad he and I are...together now. I am really nervous Will is going to ruin it though." Jessica said in a hushed tone to Tia. Tia nodded thoughtfully.

"Well, you said you are going to ignore him, and I'm sure he'll get the message, or next time he comes to HOJ, you can spill a latte down his pants!" Tia grinned wickedly and Jessica laughed. She was so glad she and Tia had become good friends. It seemed that when she wasn't popular she made stronger friendships and had a better time, than when she was popular!

"And I was like, I did it all for the Nookie! Yeah! The Nookie!" Jessica snapped out of her stupor and looked at Tia.

"What have you been doing to my favorite song now, Tia?!" Jessica laughed happily as Tia rolled her eyes.

"Nothing at all, Ms. Nookie! I was just seeing if you have heard a word I have said in the last five minutes!" Jessica rolled her eyes.

"Don't be so dramatic, Tee. Of course, you were talking about how Ricky kicked you in the sins and you've got a nasty bruise so you can NEVER wear shorts again!" Jessica said, putting a hand to her eyes, in a mock weep.

"You are too annoying today, Jessica Wakefield!" Tia pushed Jessica playfully, and she slammed into something hard. Jessica turned around to see what she hit, and blushed a deep red, when she saw it was an "office runner".

"Sorry Mrs. Walks."Jessica mumbled.

"Yes, well, anyway, I am afraid that you are going to have to leave for the rest of the day Ms. Wakefield. It appears someone has some very urgent news for you." She sniffed and turned away.

"Hey Jess, I'll go with you to the office." Tia mummer in Jessica's ear. Jessica nodded, collected her things, quickly told her sister the deal. She hurried to her locker and took the books she needed.

As they neared the office the lunch bell rang and Tia groaned."I'm really sorry, Jess, but I really gotta run. Call me tonight. K?" Tia glanced at Jessica.

"Sure, see ya later, Tee!" Jessica flashed a bright smile and hurried down the hall. As she rounded the corner Mrs. Walks was waiting for her.

"Your ride is waiting outside, Ms. Wakefield." She sniffed and turned her heel. Jessica almost laughed out loud. Did she always do that?

She dashed outside, and stopped in her tracks. They're in his old car....her Jeremy. What a great way to end the day!

Elizabeth Wakefield

He love me, he loves me not. He loves me...he loves me ...NOT!! Yeah, right! Like Conner will ever come back to me! I need some fortuneteller to tell me what is going to happen, because my own life is so crazy I don't know what is next and how I am getting there!

Jeremy Aames

Jessica and I had such a great day today. We had a picnic on the beach and we listened to some of our favorite music...She has a great taste in music, mind you. But remember skipping school is bad, and even if you do get your friends to help you out and make a very clever plan, skipping school is very, very bad. Unless you are skipping to see Jessica.
