Jessica held onto Jeremy's hand tightly as they made their way through the crowd of high school students. She glanced around the room. Where is everyone? She thought wildly. Why wasn't Elizabeth, Maria, Tia and everyone else there yet? Jessica tensed up immeditaly.
Ding, dong. The doorbell blared. Jessica almost jumped out of her skin.
"Shh...it's ok, Jess. We're in the foyor...why are you so jumpy?" Jeremy whispered her in ear as he dragged her towards the door. She shrugged as Jeremy pulled the door open.
To her surprise all of her friends were standing there. "Fancy meeting you here, Jess." Andy remarked as they all marched through the door.
"Hi!" Jessica replied smiling. She was returned with a cours of "hellos" as well.
Jessica glanced at her twin, Elizabeth's face was a strange shade of white. Her eyes seemed to be staring in front of her, and then whipping to the side, and then whipping back. Jessica peeked at Conner. His face was an angry shade of red, he was glaring daggers at Todd.
Oh well, whatever. Jessica thought to herself. The group made wandered through Stan's beautiful home. They stopped every so often to say hello to people they knew, or talk .
Jessica sighed happily very softly as Jeremy started talking to some guy. She started to let her eyes wander. She looked at the people rushing about. She loved parties, she felt right at home. Suddenly everything was thrown out of wack. She was thrown out her home and left in the cold. Will, Oh God. What is he doing here?? Jessica thought in panic.
"Umm...excuse us, we have to go to the bathroom." Jessica said. She quckily grabbed her sister's arm. "Link onto Tia, I'll get Maria and Delilah, just move, Liz. Don't ask questions." Jessica hissed in her sister's ear.
After they were all collected the girls holed up in a little corner away from the party. When they hit their new area Jessica flew into action.
Conner frowned. Great, Jessica had stolen Tia and now he had to stand there with Wilkins.
"Jeremy, where's the bathroom?" Andy asked nervously.
"Umm...down that hall first door on the left...why do you ask?"
"The girls aren't down the hall to the left."
"Don't worry, Jess is always pulling those stunts." Todd answered smoothly.
Conner glared at him. How did he know all about Jessica? She was Elizabeth's twin, not Todd's. Conner did not like the idea of Todd knowing things abot Liz and her family, and hobbies, he didn't want Wilkins to know anything about Elizabeth.
"What do you know about Jessica?" Jeremy asked suddenly. Narrowing his brown eyes.
"Not much. Just she and I hate each other. It's always been that way. She hated the thought of me and Liz going together all through Junior year." Todd said staring Conner, smirking. Conner made a mental note to become best friends with Jessica Wakefield.
"Ahh, I see. So, you ever went out with her?" Jeremy said.
"No, she's not my type at all. She went out with Ken though." Todd answered, and Ken blushed.
"Yeah, but it didn't work out, we are just friends. She's a nice girl, just we don't make a good couple." Ken replied.
Jeremy nodded thoughtfully. Conner turned towards Todd. "Don't try to ruin Jessica's relationship with Jeremy, man. That's just sick." He snapped. He didn't care that he didn't know Jessica. He was only doing this for Elizabeth.
Todd rolled his eyes and ignored Conner. He started talking to Andy and that was that. Elizabeth started at her sister's white face.
"Shh, Jess. It's going to be ok. If Will comes near you then we will let you know, ok?" Tia said forcefully.
"Ok, but what are we going to do?" Delilah asked quietly.
"Umm...say, where are the drinks?" Maria answered. The girls all agreed that it would be a good idea to keep Jessica as far away from Will as possible.
"Let's go back." Jessica said, regaining her control.
Elizabeth took her sisters arm and held on tightly. She leaned over to Jessica's ear and mummered. "Do you have any idea why Conner is here? Do you think he could possibly want to apologize?" Her tone very anxious.
"Anything's possible, Liz. I really want to see Whizzer let down though, so if Conner says those two words drop Tood-fast!" Jessica replied giggling.
As Jessica's words washed over Elizabeth she realized that if Conner would possibly want her back, then she would drop Todd. She really didn't need him in her life again.
Todd Wilkins
What could Elizabeth possibly see in Conner McDermott? He's ugly and slobby and he doesn't deserve a goddess like Elizabeth Wakefield. Sometimes I wonder the same thing. Am I good enough for Elizabeth? She has put up with so many things that I have done. I don't know-could she ever take me back?
Andy Marsden
Here I am, without a care in the world, and everyone around me is withering away. Jessica's in love with Jeremy but Will doesn't think that Jeremy is right for Jess and Jess knows Jeremy is right for her. Elizabeth is going out with Todd, but she is still in love with Conner and he still won't tell her how much he loves her, and how much he wants to be with her. Tia is so upset about Angel it makes me sick sometimes. But here I am, still in love with Delilah.
