Jessica Wakefield is desperate to be crowned Queen of the Fall Dance at SVH.
She's also desperate to snag rich and good looking Bruce Patman, which she
thinks she will if she wins the crown
She feels the only thing in her way is Enid Rollins, her twin sister's best friend. Enid is dating the fall dance committee chairperson, Ronnie Edwards and Jessica believes he'll send votes her way.
Jessica finds out a secret of Enid's from her past and spreads it around SVH. This causes Enid to lose Ronnie and she thinks Liz was the one to tell because she was the only person Enid told.
While Enid and Liz are on the outs, Jessica finalises her plans to become Fall Queen. She pretends to be helping Enid and Liz to become friends again and gets Ronnie to ask her to the dance. Meanwhile Liz finds out what happens and she and Todd devise a plan to get back at Jessica.
They campaign for Jessica to be named Fall Queen and convince everyone they should vote Winston Egbert as King. When Jessica is crowned as Queen she is so happy. She waits until Bruce's name is called for King but is devastated to find Winston named instead. Liz and Enid work things out.
