this is a very special section of our tape list. the "live x" shows are acoustic radio concerts recorded exclusively for 99x-WNNX atlanta. there are several of these shows we are still looking for. every week at fridays at 1pm and sundays at 10pm, 99x would air one of these shows from their vaults of digital tapes.Sadly, 99x no longer broadcasts these sessions on the radio, but they can still be heard on 99X official website, all you need is a real player and it can be heard on demand! the first live x session was in feb 94 with tori amos, and today remains a traditional thing that top artists do when stopping in Atlanta. We also have the officially released volumes of Live x collections. the quality on these shows is excellent and the performances on these is well above average.
