a very spirited acoustic performance, "ultrasuede" works very well this way, but it is only a minute long... ,
the show played a little too slow when it aired on 99X but it still an essential listen, you can actually hear someone request "nothing lasts", but that one was not played again live until 1999.

John Hiatt with Matthew Sweet and a combination of both bands throughout the acoustic performance, this one is a lot of fun to watch. Brilliant format too, 2 songs by each plus 2 covers, terrific!

Oh my God! This is the closest thing to a VH-1 Storytellers as Matthew could ever get without actually playing a session for VH-1. This is such an amazing set, many of these songs were never attempted acoustically before and they all worked very well. Thanks a million to the very special person who sent this information to me. Ah, someone even requests "born in sin" and "do it again" both of which would be nice to hear acoustically.
