Acclaim Entertainment, Inc., announced today the appointment of one Bradford Loucks as the new vice president in charge of their North American sales force.

"Brad is a seasoned sales professional who brings enormous strength to Acclaim's sales organization," said Mr. Eibeler, General Manager of Acclaim North America. "Brad will be responsible for establishing sales goals, expanding our sales team, and, most importantly, broadening and enhancing our retail relationships. With the tremendous growth projected in the video game market, he will be responsible for building Acclaim's presence at the retail level and increasing our share of the video game market."

"I'm very excited about joining Acclaim, where I see significant opportunity for growth," said Mr. Loucks. "Having worked for several Fortune 50 companies, I am hopeful I can bring some [of the] best practices to Acclaim and help the company reach a similar position of industry leadership. I will concentrate especially on strengthening our people and relationships with key retailers, as well as instilling a sub-culture that proactively seeks growth opportunities."

Prior to working for Acclaim, Bradford most recently worked for Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble--which isn't quite as interesting as the background of their second new hire, Jay Andronaco. Jay will be taking the reigns of PR for Acclaim's upcoming Extreme Championship Wrestling title. Mr. Andronaco spent the last five years as Manager of Marketing Communications and Media Relations for the World Wrestling Federation and Titan Sports. His duties in the WWF included managing all aspects of communications, marketing and promotional programs for WWF properties, including pay-per-view, television, live events, special events/projects and new media.

"Having worked five years as the head of Marketing Communications/Media Relations for WWF, Jay masterminded many of the media stunts and marketing initiatives that created the level of excitement and awareness this league has today," said Claudia Ceniceros, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Acclaim. "Jay's proven ability to build brand awareness and create excitement in the marketplace is a tremendous asset to Acclaim and ECW as we forge our long-term video game partnership."
