Her flowing chamber robes and delicate charm masked her ferocity in battle and appetite for victory, becoming a major source of frustration and consternation for both our young Warriors and the Dark Warlords. She would even test her powers and ruthlessness against the Armor of Inferno itself, the ultimate expression of all the armors. The resulting battle shattered across the Netherworld and reigned a path of devastation into the Mortal World accompanied by her laughter, as she howled in delight between both worlds. Needless to say, Lady Kayura became the Netherworld's top fighter and Talpa's Right Hand.

Ahh, she was so much fun to watch. Her speed, her agility, the way she would "pounce" on top of our boys with such glee, while our young Warriors would get all angry and flustered. In the beginning, there appeared to be an ever-so slight hesitancy on whether to "kiss her" or "kill her". There were so many memorable moments, such as the trap she laid out for Ryo and Rowan, draining nearly all of Wildfire's armor power (can anybody say "flaccid") and then go after Strata for the kill, forcing him to make a valiant, but futile stand. But it was Anubis with the Jewel of Life that prevented Kayura from adding Wildfire and Strata to Talpa's armor collection.

But all her power was more than just an ambitious desire to serve Emperor Talpa. Lady Kayura was just one more pawn of Talpa, whose memories and identity was manipulated by his evil machinations. But once she was freed by Anubis' noble sacrifice, once a slave himself to Talpa's domination, but freed by the Ancient, she saw the truth and the evil of her misdeeds.

She reclaimed her birthright as the Last of the Ancient's Clan, welding the Ancient's Staff of Power in both the Ancient's and Anubis' stead. Now she is a Warrior for Humanity with the former Dark Warlords in the Netherworld at her side, keeping Talpa's evil at bay. All this, in the form of a 12-year old girl.
