Woman-child, child-Woman. Such was the paradox of Suzunagi, who fluctuated between states of confusion. A spirit, whose powers were so great, that she rivaled those of Kaosu himself in her child form. Her grief was so deep that she survived the ravages of time and space to rage her terrible vengeance against the armors -- and their bearers.

But Suzunagi was also a tragedy herself, her family utterly destroyed, caught between the fear and politics involving the armors, a manuscript and a play, hundreds of years ago in a shogun-ruled Japan.

Unlike the other women, Suzunagi was truly a sad case, whose strength flowed from the madness of a twisted love/hate. One moment she appeared to want to save the Troopers from the heartache of their destinies, the next she wanted them destroyed for their connection with the yoroi, the root cause of all her anguish and madness.

In her twisted mind, she thought it was the Troopers that needed saving when in fact, it was Suzunagi herself, that needed saving. She thought the yoroi as evil things, but it was her deep bitterness that caused Suzunagi herself to do evil things. Her powers soared so close to infinite that Suzunagi took the Troopers back through the fabric of time itself, to her NeoStage, and summoned the yoroi (or at least images of the yoroi) to bait and trap our heroes.

But she didn't have the power to save herself and therefore, forfeited the peace of her soul. She thought the Troopers motives were to follow the will of the yoroi for power and battle. But it was Ryo and the power of his heart that was able to show Suzunagi that the yoroi were no longer a threat, for the five had conquered the yoroi and their willfullness for battle. That through the yoroi, they found each other and accepted their destinies to save humanity from evil.

Finally, the spirit of Suzunagi's mother confronted her and her evil deeds and urged her to let go of the bitter past. To let go of this corrupt existence for revenge and once again, become her little girl that she can then love for the rest of eternity. So when she saw their truths and realized her own wrongs, Suzunagi gave our Troopers new armors, as our five heroes transformed one more time -- from boys to men. And Suzunagi finally found love and peace in the skies with her mother.
