Rain gently
falling, cascading down
Washing the
earth, with angelic sound
Day dimmed
in gray, yet holding the promise
The rainbow
of renewal, spring soon upon us.
Days of mystic
beauty, flowers all around
Birds singing
sweetly, revel in the sound
Graced with
gentle breezes, magic that they share
Bringing the
scent of lilacs, aroma fills the air.
God has shown
to me the beauty of his ways
Rising me
from slumber of long winter days
Everything
in His world lives, nothing ever dies
Never ending
renewal, no reason for good-byes.
Until we meet
again, my angel child and I
Where into
the celestial skies we’ll fly
I hold on
to the promise, of spring in the air
Where life
begins again, in all its beauty rare.
For God has
shown me the beauty of His ways
Waking me
from slumber, of long winter days
Showing that
life, continues to renew
In each blade
of grass, glistening in dew.
As rain gently
ceases, and rainbows appear
I remember
a gift so dear
As the scent
of lilacs fill the air
